Atmosphere and service were fine. Truck parking was great.
I ordered fish and fries. That fish reminded me of when I was broke, living on $300 a week and buying Aldi frozen pizzas and frozen fish. There wasn’t any love in the way it was made. But hey, it’s a restaurant in a 2-star hotel. So it’s what you’d expect.

The food was decent for a hotel bar. Not winning any awards but very convenient. Service can be a little slow if there are more than half a dozen people seated.

Overall an enjoyable experience. The vibe was very relaxed, no bright lights or loud TVs! Food & drinks were better than expected, and received them in a reasonable amount of time.
Our waitress Stacey was very kind and welcoming! She made sure everything was great and had a smile on her face.
Would recommend for anyone who needs a quiet evening after a long day of driving!

I decided to grab dinner at the Lazy Lizard while staying at the Quality Inn. Ordered the special – Chicken-Fried Steak. It came with mashed potatoes, a biscuit and mixed vegetables. The chicken-fried steak and gravy were just like I expected, as were the out-of-a-box mashed potatoes. Not a problem. I take issue with the vegetables. No salt what so ever and they were boiled beyond taste recognition. The carrots were like a sponge of old water. I tried to eat each vegetable separately to check on the flavor. Not one veggie tasted like it should. Someone clearly hates vegetables.
The bartender was nice but clearly favored the locals. She didn’t even check back after dropping off my dinner.

I stopped here after not being here for 5 years and the service is still amazing with Stacey in the bar. Great famous lazy lizard margarita, pina colada is also super yummy. Tonight I tried the B.L.T. and I know that it sounds pretty basic but it was amazing with the onion rings. I would definitely recommend this over and over again. I hope to come back sooner rather than later. Thanks again Stacey.

The bartender saves this place as the cook tries to kill it with his lack of attention to details, lack of cooking skills, and lack of ability to multitasking (35 minutes for burgers, both made incorrectly.
