Honestly was excited for some Jamaican food as I haven’t had it forever reviews made me feel like this was the spot and my husband couldn’t wait to have some oxtails. When he got home with the and I took my first bite I was was not impressed. Rice and peas I couldn’t tell if it was over cooked or under cooked as it was crunchy and mushy at the same time. My jerk chicken was cut up into bite sized pieces which left me confused and my husbands oxtail wasn’t cooked to fall off the bone not that there was much meet to even have off the bone has there was just 5 oxtail with two having meat. The beef patties were the best thing as she cooked them fresh. I really had high hopes. #unsatisfied

We are from out of town and were looking for an authentic Jamaican place in the area. The lazy jerk did not disappoint! We ordered the oxtails and goat curry with rice and peas and plantains. The food was hot, fresh, delicious and authentic! The goat curry was on the spicy side but that’s ok because I love spicy! Plantains were spot on and rice also perfect. Small business owner who clearly takes pride in her cooking and great service. Would come back again any time we are in Clearwater! Thanks again and be sure to try out this great Jamaican experience!

I’m originally from Boston and Jamaican, and let me tell you, the food was authentic and absolutely delicious. I had the jerk chicken bowl, and my friend got the oxtail box — both were phenomenal, hot, and full of flavor.
The owner had such a familiar vibe, and after just visiting Jamaica recently, being here truly felt like I was right back on the island. Wishing you all the success — I’ll definitely be back!

Very clean and friendly environment. I was greeted with a smile which you don’t get at many places. Had to wait a little bit but the food was worth it and sometimes that is expected when the quality is good. I had the Oxtail , rice and peas the cabbage and it was mouth watering. Not your typical crowd that you would expect at a food hall but, there are other vendors to choose from. I will go back again with my family.

CHEI shows her mission for conserving and serving her grandma’s Jamaican recipes. She must be serving it up well because today she sold out jerk pork bowl, Jamaican me crazy bowl, ginger salad, plantains, curry goat box Phew! So I went for a delicious hibiscus drink. Yummy.
This venue is next to the golf simulators and accessible restrooms. To get to the other areas of Cleveland Street Market, you need to walk down 5 steps or go outside and down the ramp.

Y’all… this is by FAR the best Caribbean Jerk I’ve had. I just tasted it and yeah, this is done with style and finesse.

Food is delicious the VIBE is impeccable !!! and her personality && hospitality is unmatched.
My man got her loaded jerk chicken cheeses fries with queso, juicy chicken, and salsa topped with spicy sour cream. He loved it and I totally stole some, The fries were seasoned perfectly Also we got the jerk chicken bowl that’s what brought me in! Soooo yummy
No issues with pricing or portions, I’m definitely coming back we can’t wait to try her oxtails but Listen she’s inside the food market so it’s tricky to locate her at first because of the GPS leading you into or near the Nolen apartments but just look for her black, yellow, green Jamaican flag decor blowing with the music on Cleveland street and I parked on the side in a gated parking lot right next to her little cafe. You won’t be disappointed

azy Jerk Caribbean Restaurant deserves every bit of five stars. The service was pure sunshine—kind, welcoming, and professional. The food was beautiful and delicious, seasoned with care and served with pride. Everything was in order, smooth, and memorable. We loved it and we’ll be back.

Great food, omg, I came here starving and since Clearwater can be disappointing sometimes when you order food, I was worried but that first bite and I was like “Woahhhhh! What is going on, this is sooooo good. I’ve never tasted something like this, sooo tasty and delicious, I highly recommend it and you will not regret it. Jerk chicken was what I ordered which comes with mango salsa and rice with beans and sour cream, best food ever. My first taste of Jamaican and it was delish.
