Ohhh man… Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar in Aurora, CO absolutely crushed it!
Let’s start with our waitress. Whoever she is, she deserves her own statue out front She was fast, friendly, funny, accurate, and just flat-out awesome. We forgot her name (sorry!) but trust me, if you’ve been there, you know who I’m talking about. We made sure to tip her well because she earned every penny
Now the food… WOW. My wife went with the shrimp tacos and was in full-blown happy dance mode after the first bite I had the Beef Stew French Dip sandwich, and it was straight-up flavor fireworks. Tender, juicy, and ridiculously good
To top it off, my wife’s meal came with a brownie and ice cream for dessert . Bonus points for that! The vibe was great, prices were solid, and everything about the experience just hit right.
If you’re anywhere near Aurora and want great food, great drinks, and even better service, Lazy Dog is the move!

Very good spot. Food was amazing as was service. Did not disappoint!
We started with the Bacon Candy, then a Veggie omelette woth abocado toast and the breakfast burger. (I was torn between Chicken and Biscuits, Biscuits and gravy as well).
I gave atmosphere only 4 because I like authentic, but being a chain, definitely could tell. But if you want great food and great service, you can’t go wrong!

We went for Valentine’s Day and had their Valentine’s Menu which was a great deal and good portion sizes, included a little bubbly to toast in the beginning which was an excellent addition to the normal “app+two entrée+dessert” menus you see pop up for special days. Food was great, nothing mind-blowing but the steak was excellently cooked and their Hot Honey Feta Dip was next-level good. Also a minor thing but important for me – the place was packed but I never felt like I had to yell to be heard, so great acoustics in there for sure. We will definitely be coming back!

Mixed results this time. I went here two days in a row, the first day to see if it would be possible to get in at the normal lunch time. I didn’t get there until around 2:00 in the afternoon. Was seated immediately. The waitress was friendly and took my order, the food was delivered and the side order was incorrect however it was good. I forgot to order condiments when I first ordered but when I requested them after the food arrived she had them promptly brought to my table. Based on that experience I went ahead and scheduled the reservation at a normal lunch time. Although there were 50 people waiting when I got there they sat me within about 5 minutes, unlike the location up north which took 2 hours to seat me. The waiter the second time was not as attentive. When I placed my order I added the condiments immediately. They were not delivered with the food. Additionally the entire restaurant wait staff vanished for at least 45 minutes after our food was delivered. My meal was cold. The tater tots on the side we’re just okay. I had ordered the puff pastry with the caramelized onion and two little tiny squares of pastry probably worth at most a dollar showed up, they charge $9.50 for that. My food was cold so I took it home. My takeaway is to only go off hours. Still am unused to spending close to $50 for a burger meal.

First time coming in, host was very welcoming, atmosphere was vibrant and convertible. We got delicious free chips for it being our first visit. Brit was amazing. Came in for lunch on Wednesday. She gave a great menu recommendation and was so pleasant and friendly. Give her a raise. Also make sure you get side tacos à la carte.

Came in on Monday, and our server immediately greeted us which was nice. My order was incorrect, which wasn’t a big deal but then I had wait 15-20 minutes to get my food again. I didn’t complain, but then when I was about to pay, I was charged twice for the burger. To make it up, I was given a card for 10$ off my next meal. It wasn’t until later I realized that the card stated I needed to spend 40$ to get my 10$ off. Prefer to not even come back at this point.

Our server: Britt was AMAZING!! She was fun, attentive and just perfect! We were seriously disappointed about no goat cheese and pepper jam app!! One of our party only came for it! The martinis were perfection. We love you guys but bring back the goat cheese and give Britt a raise because she freaking rocks!!

We just landed in CO. I was tired and hangry. DJ, our server, went into work mode and knew exactly what we needed to de-stress. We started with a 3 beer sampler for the adults and some Huckleberry drinks for kiddos – HIGHLY recommend the beer. The guac was out of this world and the burgers were insane.
We left happy and beyond satiated.
DJ was brilliant. The best server I think I’ve ever had! Every table was treated like the center of his world and every person sitting around the table was made to feel special.
