We had an amazing experience at Lazy Dog today. The fish n’ chips were perfectly crispy, the chicken meatballs were delicious, and the mango margarita was refreshing and spot‑on. Our kids loved their lunches too, which made the whole meal even better. Great food, friendly service, and a relaxed vibe — we’ll definitely be back!

I recently had an excellent experience at Lazy Dog, and I must share how delightful our visit was! From the moment we walked in, Brittney made us feel incredibly welcome. She was excited to hear it was our first time and took the time to walk us through the menu, highlighting all the fantastic options available. Her attentiveness truly enhanced our experience.

As a lovely gesture, she informed her manager about our first visit, and we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary chef’s chips accompanied by a delicious sauce definitely a treat! My friend ordered the Cuban sandwich, which was absolutely amazing with its perfectly toasted garlic bread. I opted for the chicken wok from the lunch menu, and I chose the sweet option. It was packed with flavor and incredibly satisfying.

The atmosphere of the outdoor patio was also a highlight, making our meal even more enjoyable. The staff were all exceptionally friendly, and their hospitality made us feel right at home. We genuinely look forward to returning to Lazy Dog to enjoy more of their menu offerings. Highly recommended!

Lazy Dog is such a cozy spot, and the real fireplace added an extra touch of warmth and comfort to our visit. Our waitress told us we were only her second table on her very first day, yet she gave us some of the best customer service we’ve had anywhere. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.

We started with the Brussels sprouts, cheese curds, and fried deviled eggs—every single appetizer was amazing! The Brussels sprouts were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crunch, the cheese curds were delicious, and the fried deviled eggs were absolutely off the charts.

For my entrée, I had the loco moco, and honestly, it was one of the best dishes I’ve had anywhere. The rice was packed with flavor and the seasoning was spot-on.

Overall, Lazy Dog is a great place to hang out, relax, and enjoy fantastic food. Can’t wait to go back!

We ordered the brussel sprouts appetizer, it was terrific. Lots of flavor and very enjoyable.
Had the Cuban sandwich and the Loco Moco Fried Rice.

The Cuban sandwich was serviceable. It comes on sourdough, which was good. However, it’s not pressed and the pork was pretty dry. The mustard was good but could’ve used more.

The Loco Moco Fried Rice was delicious! A variety of flavor that complimented the dish in a great way. Extremely enjoyable.

The service was top notch. Our server, Rebecca was diligent and did an excellent job with our requests, very friendly, and pleasant.

If you have room, be sure to get the s’mores sundae. It’s so good!

Highly recommend three Lazy Dog!

ATL Reviews With A Bite!
Over the years, I’ve hit Lazy Dog spots from California to Colorado to Dunwoody. Most recently, the Alpharetta location delivered on our cold winter brunch. We grabbed a cozy table by the fireplace – perfect for eyeing the chill outside while the flames warmed us up.

Ambiance is spot-on: classic lodge feel with warm woods, mountain charm, and decor like a mini escape. It’s lively – families and couples rolling in – but welcoming for all ages (cocktail fans included). No actual lazy dogs in sight, though – missed opportunity on the name!

Food highlights: The seasonal Hot Honey Feta Dip with toasted bread was a standout – creamy, tangy, with that addictive sweet-spicy kick. Paired with adult cocktails, it nailed a brisk day.

My pancakes with fruit compote and maple syrup were nicely done – good flavor, but slightly dry and not that fluffy. My wife’s veggie omelet with tater tots? Quite good: fresh veggies, perfect eggs, crispy tots.

Lazy Dog’s consistency across locations is impressive – this is a well-run chain where quality stays steady. Great for hearty American eats in a cozy, bustling spot, especially on a chilly day. Fireplace seats recommended. 4.5 stars – reliable and worth it.

First visit to Lazy Dog. What a great spot. The fire was warm and inviting on this chilly winter day and the food was just the same. Could have stayed there all day and sampled the craft beer from Alpine, Wyoming. The server was sweet and efficient. My mom loved her wok chicken bowl, my dad had an amazing burger and I chowed down on the fried chicken meal with a smile. We will be back!

What a cool place. I am glad that we just happened to find this place. Sandy was our server and she was great. You have to try the Hot honey feta dip. They have $15 fireside favorites that comes with a S’more brownie sundae. They have a great variety for everyone. Everything we got was delicious and hot. Will definitely return in the future.

Met a colleague for Lunch at Lazy Dog. We arrived before noon, so we beat the lunch crowd. Service was great. We were seated immediately. Our food came out quickly. The food was decent. The price of their lunch items was very affordable.

The greeter was kind and welcoming upon entry. Jason was an amazing server—very attentive—and the bartender with dreads (I didn’t catch her name) was wonderful as well. The food was delicious; I had the chicken dinner, and my dog enjoyed the chicken bowl on the warm patio. I will definitely be back.
