One star is generous. Do not go here if you’re from out of town, they will take advantage of you. I went last night & was honestly having fun, the dj was great and we were dancing until closing. When I went to cash out is when the issues started, my bill was $55 dollars more than what I ordered. I reminded the bartender I only had two drinks in which she proceeded to tell me that two men were putting their drinks on my tab & said I was okay with that…did you ask me? Did you verify my name on file that they wouldn’t have known? Because I could have told a real quick no and ended it there. Well, she was less than helpful & said I either paid, or was charged the fee for holding overnight. Absolutely ridiculous. To add, they were not crazy busy. And even if they were, you should be verifying peoples identity when adding drinks to their tab!!! I had $10 in drinks that turned into $67 and they were incredibly rude. Also, don’t try to contact a manager – all their phone numbers are fake. Please go elsewhere in this amazing town!

Great little dive. We went around happy hour but wished we could have stayed longer. Cheap drinks. Service was great at the time we were there. I definitely plan on going back the next time we’re in Asheville.

We went here on a week night and had a good time, although the bartender was a little dismissive we ultimately got drinks in a decent time. We went back on a Friday, and the bouncer was incredibly rude, immediately looked us up and down and declared we were too drunk to enter… being a Friday night we had had a few drinks prior but we were not slurring or stumbling, or being rude or obnoxious in any way. Will not be going back.

Had a fun karaoke night here on a weekday. It was not very busy but the people were nice and the bouncer and bartender were very friendly too. The bouncer also threw out some homeless people bothering us. Would recommend!

Unfortunately a lot of miscommunication at this place. Security is egotistical and power trippy. Would be a cool vibe if there was decency and respect for guests. It’s a shame. They hate people from out of town…for no reason. Keep up the rep guys! Locals only lol. Looks like they even edit their ratings. Lots of people putting 1 star but it only shows one review of 1 star…curious.

This is the worst bar I’ve been to in a long time. The bartender charged my group for $70 worth of shots on my friends tab and made us pay for it while it wasn’t approved by the car holder at all. AND it’s her bachelorette. I love Asheville, and this interaction put a bad taste in my mouth. Terrible. Do not come here.
