Awesome place! Great atmosphere, super super friendly staff that was also very knowledgeable. Huge selection of canned beers and about 12 beers on tap with flights available. Definitely a must stop. They also had an awesome food truck! Will be back!

Always a good selection of beer. If you don’t like the food trucks there, you can just DoorDash or bring your own. Lots of fresh, creative, and bold upgrades at the tap house in 2025.

We moved from Lexington to Prosperity and stumbled on Lazy Creek while we were trying to find our new spots and it became our number 1! Not only is the atmosphere relaxing and fun, staff are absolutely amazing! They always have the best beer choices and even wine and frozen options! Food trucks are always rotating and EVERYONE is so fun and welcoming! It’s 100% a place for everyone, there’s an area for kids and dogs outside, picnic tables, and a covered porch with fans to keep you cool! Location is perfect and prices are great also! 10/10 will always recommend!!

Great beer selection and friendly staff. I expect new places to have some issues work getting people served quickly, but not this place. They have been great. There’s no food, but they bring in food trucks. Check their Facebook page or website for the schedule.

What was supposed to be a relaxed family outing on a hot Saturday afternoon quickly turned sour after we were made to feel judged and unwelcome — all because our toddlers were… being toddlers. We visited Lazy Creek Taphouse on Saturday, June 21 from 4–7 PM with a small group of friends and family, including my two-year-old son and his friend. The atmosphere was surprisingly dead for a weekend — just a few people at the bar inside — so we stayed indoors due to the 90+ degree heat outside. The kids were simply running around playing, behaving appropriately for toddlers, with the occasional excited squeal you’d expect from two little ones having harmless fun.

As we were getting ready to leave, I took the kids outside to play with trucks in the gravel. That’s when my friend mentioned overhearing the plus-size female bartender speaking negatively about our children to other patrons — complaining about the noise and making unwarranted comments. I confronted her about it directly, and rather than offering any kind of apology or professional response, she doubled down with an attitude.

What’s most disappointing is that Lazy Creek promotes itself as a *kid-friendly* establishment. If that’s truly the case, the staff should treat children and their families with basic respect — especially when the children are simply being playful and not disruptive. There’s a big difference between genuine chaos and two toddlers running around having fun.

If this place really wants to be “kid-friendly,” the staff should either be trained to better handle the presence of children or stop advertising that it’s a welcoming space for families. You’re entitled to a kid-free life — but not a kid-free world.

It’s honestly a shame — and hurtful — to feel so unwelcome in a space that claims to support families. Now, we’re left feeling judged and uncomfortable about ever coming back.

Great casual environment. Rotation of beers on tab and different food trucks makes each visit unique. Pet friendly. Family friendly. Nice place to catch the game.

Had a surprise party there for a girlfriend. Good place for smallish private party. The short female bartender was so nice! Good outside areas for warmer weather. Lots of different beers. The only thing I would suggest fixing is the appearance of the bathroom and maybe add a sign on the door that says. Please close door behind you?
