Wow! Lazia, I have no complaints!

First off, I love everything about the crossroads hotel. Nothing in that building disappoints!

The service was great, food amazing, and drinks delicious!

The price is definitely not an everyday thing, unless you got it like that!!

And if you do, let me go with you next time!

But it is absolutely worth it! I had a ladies night with my homegirl, and we split the food since the portions were pretty large.

Definitely find any reason to go try this restaurant!

I spent $70 (before the tip) with having 2 cocktails and splitting the food with my friend.

Delicious food, quaint setting. While it is pricey, the appetizers and dishes are worth their price. We had the Fish Crudo, Eggplant fries and a delectable salad. The mains were the seafood pasta and that was a joy to the taste buds and the visual buds, long rolls of squiggly pasta. Apart from that was the meatball pasta, hearty and filling. The third wntree was the gnocchi which was cooked and flavored to perfection.

Service was good although a tad bit slow and have some reluctance to switch out dishes and silverware between the apps and the mains.

This is a very romantic restaurant and perfect for date night. I loved the atmosphere and the food was good. However, just about everything is cooked in butter so not an authentic Italian cuisine experience but still tasty.

Lazia delivered one of the best meals we’ve had in Kansas City. The atmosphere is warm and upscale without feeling stuffy. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly executed, and the service team was attentive and knowledgeable. The pasta dishes were standouts, and the cocktail menu was excellent. Great spot for a date night or a special dinner.

Incredible food, and great hospitality — Bruno was wonderful. We were a party of 7 tucked in a comfortable room to enjoy our birthday festivities. We all chose different apps and entrées to do a family style tasting.
It is rare to LOVE everything on the menu, but it happened at Lazia.
Thank you Lazia for a wonderful night!

My colleague and I were in town for a business meeting, and since I’d stayed at the hotel last year and had an awesome experience, I figured I’d repeat the whole routine—dinner included.

We showed up around 7:45 pm, and the place was absolutely buzzing. Even without a reservation, we lucked out and grabbed two seats at the bar right away.

Erica, our server, was fantastic and nailed every food and drink recommendation she gave us.

Boulevard Wheat (can):
A great local beer—golden, light, refreshing. Totally my kind of drink and the perfect way to kick off the meal.

Grilled Octopus:
This dish came with pork belly, grilled potatoes, parsley, and a layer of hot sauce underneath. The pork belly was spot-on: crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. The octopus was perfectly seasoned, super tender, and practically melted in my mouth. The hot sauce had just the right amount of heat and tied all the flavors together beautifully. Phenomenal dish!

Mafaldine Alla Vodka:
Named after a Portuguese princess for its “hair-like” shape, this pasta had amazing texture—bouncy, chewy, and fun to eat. The broken meatballs were juicy and savory, adding depth to the dish. The chili sauce, basil, and Parmesan brought everything together, creating a rich, flavorful bite every time. Lots of components, but they all worked in perfect harmony. Loved it.

Overall, we had a great dinner and can’t thank Erica enough for the awesome recommendations and top-notch service. I’ve pinned this restaurant on my map and will definitely be back to try more next time I’m in town.

Food quality and quantity are excellent. I recommend the stuffed focaccia, cheese inside and on top. The gnocchi and seafood pasta dishes were both delicious as well. Would recommend getting a reservation. Great date night spot!

Amazing food and good sized portions. after reading the reviews, and expecting big portions it was really nice to have our waiter (Bruno, shout-out Bruno!) go over which dishes are on the “shareable size,” so we would know what to expect when ordering. the Appetizer, Egg-plant fries were incredible.. fried to perfection and the sauce that came with lit up my taste buds. Out mains, Milk braised pork shoulder and Ricotta Gnocchi were truly wonderful. The braised shoulder stole the show with a perfect crust and tender throughout topped with carmelized apples on top of a cheesey creamy polenta that made for a savory sweet dish that I won’t soon forget.

id write more but this is on my phone… would recommend 10/10

Outstanding! I highly recommend this Italian dining experience, unlike their neighboring restaurant Farina.

Our service was excellent and we felt welcomed immediately. Our waitress was personable and helped us navigate the menu with ease.

The food was unique yet executed perfectly. One of the best beef carpaccios I have ever had. Portions are very generous which we loved. The serpente was fantastic and came with a cool tableside preparation. I honestly do not think you could go wrong with any menu item here!
