Holy cow. Might possibly be the best Indian spot in town. (I’ve been to almost all of them here in Cville)
Ordered the duck portobello masala and the gucci subz korma (added lamb) and both were EXCELLENT!! But especially the duck portobello masala!! The curry had so much flavor, it was rich and creamy, and just so SO delicious. Highly recommend!
Service needs work though. We were kind of ignored towards the end, waited a while to get the check, and when they did, they brought us the wrong one, which we then had to wait more for the correct one. They also didn’t give us more rice when I had asked three times for more. Not a huge deal but definitely makes me consider getting takeout instead next time.
Overall, food is INCREDIBLE!

Had an amazing experience here. The place is well maintained and offers a variety of Indian food. Everything was delicious and the customer service was amazing. The staff ensured everything (meat) is Halal. Clean restrooms, and high chair available. Street parking or paid parking lots/decks available.

WOW! That’s the first word that comes to mind when we think about our dinner at Lazeez. Without a doubt, it was the best Indian cuisine we’ve had. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. The dining room is beautiful. The prevention was of our meal was beyond compare. It broke my heart to actually eat my meal and destroy the artwork on my plate! Do yourself a favor and book a table at Lazeez. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent tasting Indian cuisine with some interesting appetizers and entrees. Ordered the Tikka Masala and the Butter Chicken, both were fantastic! The pot sticker appetizer was great as well. The interior is definitely going for a modern/alternative feel that suits the food well. There could have been much better rice portions to compliment the dishes but other than that it was great. It’s sometimes difficult to find Indian food this great! Will definitely come back.

They did add a custom fee to both of my basic cocktails. I’m not sure why. I’m not going to argue over a few dollars at the end.
Plus we ordered two appetizers and two entrees and naan but only got one small bowl of rice. I don’t mind spending money but I hate when restaurants do penny pinching stuff like this. Again I didn’t say anything. I probably won’t be back and I won’t recommend it.

Great Indian food. Definitely different (a lot of the regular items you typically find were not on the menu), but excellent. The spice level (they offer 1-4) was on point. Both entrees we ordered were awesome. Will definitely be going again. PS – my husband and I have eaten a lot of Indian food so we are picky. He’s from Edison, NJ, so he very much knows good Indian food. IYKYK.

As many times as I have been to this restaurant, I have never had a bad meal. Every time I’m greeted in a way that upholds tradition. They truly appreciate their customers and make sure that everyone feels comfortable. It truly 10 out of 10 place to eat
