Purchased the four piece, came with sauce, fries, and a drink. I enjoyed the meal but it doesn’t have anything on Captain Jay’s in Michigan. Still it’s up there.

Absolute best chicken spot. Better than slims, Zaxbys, and canes. The gravy is soooo good with the chicken and fries!!! My new fav chicken spot. This place deserves more business, smokes the other places out of the water. Their sauce is more flavorful, the chicken is perfect, fries were great.

Can I NOT like a place named Layne’s? But seriously the food was good. Basic options, lots of flavor. The sauce is very peppery. No real complaints. The server was absolutely amazing especially considering she was still in highschool. Like Schwarzenegger said “I’ll be back!”

Just checked out the new Layne’s Chicken Fingers in North Little Rock and I’m impressed! I got the Spicy Tenders with gravy for the sauce and they were delicious, perfect heat with real spicy flavor, not just burn for burn’s sake. The gravy was a great choice too, super savory and paired perfectly with the crisp tenders.
Only heads-up: the drive-thru is a little tight if you’re in a larger vehicle, so just take it slow. Other than that, great experience all around, quick service, tasty food, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

The Best chicken tenders in my opinion. The spicy is just right not too hot but just enough spices to let your taste buds know. Not dry & seem to be always freshly made, fries too! I also recommend the jalapeño ranch dipping sauce!

I stopped by Layne’s Chicken Fingers in North Little Rock and overall had a solid experience. The chicken tenders were hot, crispy, and well-cooked, with the breading holding on nicely instead of sliding off like some places. Their signature Layne’s sauce was excellent—rich, creamy, and paired perfectly with both the tenders and fries. Speaking of fries, they were extra crispy on the outside yet soft inside, exactly how fries should be. Service was fairly fast, even with the drive-thru being busy.
That said, the staff could definitely be friendlier. The woman on the speaker seemed impatient, making me repeat a simple order more than once. At the window, I felt rushed—she basically shoved the food, drink, and my card at me all at once without a thank you or any acknowledgment. The location itself is a little chaotic traffic-wise, but that’s likely just the “new spot” rush. Overall though, it’s good chicken—I’d give it a 4.7 out of 5 stars, mainly just hoping they work on customer service.

Dry tasteless chicken with crappy pepper sauce. If your entire business model is you have to dip your chicken in the sauce to get any kind of flavor you are in the wrong business. Also the Layne’s sauce is basically just a pepper sauce and isn’t great. Try it if you must but this is a no go for me. Figure out how to make your chicken taste good and not be as dry as the desert then maybe I’ll try it again.

Best. Milkshake. In. Town. Chicken, juicy. Fries, crispy. Texas toast, buttery crisp. Lemonade, meh. Next time I’ll try the gravy.
