Comparable to Raising Cane’s, plus better variety at the expense of slightly smaller chicken tenders being the only real drawback. Value still great for price, Layne’s sauce is an excellent draw, perfect toast and more consistently cooked chicken made for a great eating experience. It’s a little loud inside, but that’s mostly the large crowd that has gathered here to try this wonderful new location. Staff is friendly and eager serve great food at a affordable price. A meal for one will run about 13-14$ so slightly above average price for fantastic food means a great deal.
We went to drive thru made and order on our way home in Burnet. When we got home the order was not ours. They all had the spicy chicken tenders and we were not able to eat it. Called spoke to Morgan shift manager and he was so apologetic and offered to replace meal the next day. When we did them ASSISTANT General Manager refused to do ANYTHING! He just took receipt and left it in the counter. The very sweet cashier went and told him we were still waiting. He came back out and said now what do you want (very rude) we explained what happened again and he said “I can’t remake this hole order (38.35). He never said I’m sorry or offer us anything. He said you should have brought it back or Morgan should have told his manager. I explained he said he was the manager. Shawn said “he is just the shift manager” I asked to talk to Shawn’s boss and he stated “I am the ast GM”. He just walked off AGAIN and never came back. I asked for the owner’s number and he wouldn’t give it to us. I have NEVER been treated that way. I worked for HEB 17 years and my husband 35 years. This would NEVER be acceptable there and to be honest I don’t think that is acceptable ANYWHERE!
