Really really good chicken tenders – cooked fresh and hot with amazing dipping sauces that include gravy. GRAVY!!! Great fries and toast too. They don’t have an elaborate or fancy menu, but what we ordered (and we brought one of the pickiest guys on the planet) was scrumptious. Even the lemonade was way above standard. We loved the souvenir cups too – the chicken in the space helmet is really fun. They don’t offer table service, you’ll go thru a line, but they do bring it to you with a smile. It was a beautiful evening and I really really really wanted to sit outside, but Mr Picky guy vetoed the suggestion. But just wanted y’all to know that outside seating is available. Definitely go check out Layne’s if you haven’t already. It’s not anything frufru. You don’t need to get dressed up. You could probably just head over in your pajamas and be just fine. But it’s good. Real good.

This Laynes was clean, had great service, and honestly still had the small town feel like the original location in College Station does. The food was great, the sauce was fantastic; as always! I hadn’t ever been to any Laynes except the original one in College Station, but I love how they have executed the franchises!

Prices were lower than frisco location which was nice, so i thought. Person taking order asked for a tip with the machine which i declined, i wasnt expecting to leave a tip not have i ever been asked at any other Laynes. I ordered a 5 piece spicy tender meal, and got a mild 5 piece nugget combo with one sauce. I wouldnt call them tenders but the nuggets were overcooked, i feel like since i didnt give a tip they tried to get over on me. It also took longer than expected or im used to with frisco location. Im not one to leave reviews, i love Laynes at frisco and maybe that gave me high expectations. I think the workers here were just high period. I had just got off work and done alot of driving and would have taken it back but did not have the time or patience

I had a very disappointing experience at Layne’s. I ordered a family meal, and the employee specifically told me there were multiple options for the family pack, which included fries and toast. When I picked it up, I was told it was actually a party pack (which doesn’t come with fries or toast). The staff then tried to cover it up by saying I misunderstood, even though I was clear about ordering the family meal.
To make things worse, the manager tried to charge extra for fries and toast, even though we had already paid more than the price of the family pack. Instead of fixing the mistake, they made excuses.
It felt dishonest, and I left feeling frustrated and cheated. I won’t be returning, and I’d caution others to double-check what they’re being charged for.

This is my first time at a Lane’s, I came up from FW – I really love the atmosphere :] My fries arrived a little cold lol but everything else was fresh. I love the Layne’s sauce!

Dude I ordered from these guys for pick up and they didn’t have like 5 drinks options- I had to settle on a water bottle. Then the employees that packed my meal failed to mention they were also out of laynes sauce and gravy and gave me a ranch instead which I discovered when I opened my meal at home. Terrible customer service.
