Not sure why Texas toast is part of it, must be a Texas thing.
I don’t care too much for the suggestive slogans on the cups either.
The dining area is wooden tables with hard steel chairs on an unfinished concrete floor. It’s kind of loud and echoey with several people dining.
Overall it’s not bad, but I’m glad there are other options in town for chicken strips.
We don’t eat fast food often in my household so when we do, we hope it’s a treat. This place was anything but a treat and definitely a “one and done” visit for us. Over $10 for 3 of the most dinky chicken fingers I’ve ever seen and they were as soggy as used, submerged piece of toilet paper. Same goes for the fries and toast. Limper than a bizkit when the night is over. Anyone saying this is better than any one singular place that serves this exact same dish, of which there is a plethora of choices, must have Covid and lost all sense of taste or smell. I noticed on the Layne’s cup it said something about “30 years” and all I could wonder is how in the actual heck this place just expanded one more restaurant let alone has lasted 30 years.
Please close this restaurant and make it a Chipotle.
Food is also spot on, and hot!
We love this place and will always go back!
I got the 5-finger meal which was about 16 bucks. Honestly it’s a bit pricey for the quantity of food you get since the chicken fingers are definitely on the small side.
The Texas toast and fries were just ok and so was their chicken. Their breading needs more seasoning and so does the country gravy I chose as a dipping sauce. It’s all just a bit bland.
At least I got a souvenir cup out of the deal.
