This place rocks with great everything! Been coming here for years and still cannot find anything that beats their menu and items. I use to settle for Taziki’s at McCain Mall but they closed up and left town. Funny, so did Layla’s when they closed their NLR McCain Blvd location. NLR just doesn’t have the capacity to accommodate a Greek restaurant. Darn it! Will just have to cross the river, I guess. Or head to Sherwood and eat at Mama’s Gyros Grill. I digress. Try the appetizer tray and the Tilapia Salad at Layla’s. Daughter had the Spinach Pizza. The best!

Its no nonsense Mediterranean food.
If you want the nice looking, organized Mediterranean place, you wont get it there.
But if you want great food, good service and want it quickly, this is the place.
I ordered the layla’s platter, and my wife ordered the combo one. The portion sizes were huge. We both were really hungry after a hike, despite that the portion was too big for us.
The star of the show is the gyro meat. Its the best gyro I have till now.

If I could vote zero on the food, service and atmosphere I would without a doubt. Im really not sure where those good reviews came from.
This is NOT authentic from any stretch of the imagination. We are from abroad and have eaten real cuisine. If someone is none the wiser then the reviews are good.
The bread was not warm and the food was cold.
As a small business owner the owner was not very welcoming. The waitress did a wonderful service.
We will never go back again and will not recommend.

We were recommended this place for some Mediterranean food and thought we’d give it a shot. My boss had the chicken shawarma plate and i had a gyro and a small greek salad. We also ordered a piece of baklava for dessert. The gyro was pretty good, the taziki was pretty different from what I’m used to but it was good. The gyro itself didnt have enough sauce so i ordered an extra which made it better. The shawarma plate was pretty darn big but it was good. I know it’s just a salad but I love greek salads, and this was prolly the most plain, terrible greek salad I’ve ever had. I picked off the feta and tossed it on my gyro, so it wasnt a complete loss. The baklava had an awesome amount of nuts/pistachios but it was really dry, like there was no honey syrup on it which was disappointing. Overall this place was a solid 4 for me. Food was okay, service was good and the atmosphere was okay as well. i think the rating is a little too high for this on realistically. I would rank this around 4.2-4.4. Thanks for the food and service and good luck!

When you enter the restaurant, it smells very good. It is very small inside. The staff are all very friendly. We had the Gyro and it was the best we have ever had! The Gyro here is really good! The hummus and pita we ordered for appetizers were also fantastic.
The restaurant has a great selection of Halal dishes.

I appreciated the freshness of the food here. We ordered Veggie plate with hummus, baba ganoush, parsley salad with pita bread, roasted garlic veggie pizza, and Syrian salad. Everything was good. I just wish they had baklava as well, that they didn’t. The food is very reasonable prices as well.

I dined here with friends and since I’m really not in to gyros I tried their 3-meat pizza. It was just ok and I believe the main reason for that is it had barely any sauce. I even asked the server about this and she said that’s just the way they prepare them. She also said I can order a cup of pizza sauce but I prefer the sauce baked in, not as a dip.
I did try a piece of gyro meat from my friend’s plate and it was very tender and tasty.
The service was excellent so I may come back sometime and try a gyro.

Great service so glad I found a delicious gyro !i went to another place and it was just huge slabs of meat that was not great I made a mistake not coming here to Layla’s first the picture with the aluminum foil is Layla’s and the brown paper is the questionable spot I will not name nor return because I found this gem here!
