Wonderful restaurant with gorgeous beautifully landscaped outdoor seating area inside a fabulous boutique resort. The food was amazing. My personal favorites was the catch of the day (halibut) and ahi tuna appetizer. The salads we tried were fabulous and the pasta was delicious! The deserts were unique and delicious and full of flavor. We will definitely be back.

Breakfast here was excellent. We ordered the breakfast burrito and their breakfast plate (eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast etc). Some of the crispiest hashbrowns I’ve ever had, and the burrito filled us up for the entire day. There also free refills on coffee!

Only ate here for breakfast, but we imagine the lunch and dinner is equally as good

something was wrong we think with the butter it had a bad flavor and everything that butter was in which ruined most of our eating experiences there. The first cocktail I had was quite good. It was clearly created by the bartender. I had asked for a dirty dog and received something quite different, but very tasty. we stayed in a lovely cottage, which we were very, very happy with but of our three meals from the kitchen and Layla. We were very disappointed in the food. the fish dish that I got even looked quite un appetizing. I wish I would’ve taken a picture. My boyfriend got some raviolis that were very good, but we don’t think there was any butter in it, which is probably why it was good. Portions were very small and the waiter was somewhat pretentious, which didn’t feel there was a reason to be in their restaurant. They seated us (a couple) right next to a table with small children when there was plenty of tables available. I liked the atmosphere of the bar area a lot.

We dined here on a late Sunday night, got lucky to be seated and served even after they closed. I ordered the lemon ricotta and spinach ravioli. The flavor was delicious, if only the mushroom were left from the equation (in my opinion of course) the combination while different and unique, was overwhelming and I felt the ravioli had enough going on and would have rated it 10/10 if not paired this way. I also had a salad with feta and apricot which was the perfect anti pasto. Here is a photo and mocktail that I couldn’t finish

This place is so close to a 5 star spot, but they cut some corners and the service was subpar. From the start the staff seemed a little confused and gave us the wrong menus, they then were not sure if they had certain items. The juices were not fresh and came in a container. We ordered the pastries to start as it seemed like a nice sampler, but they never came.
Now even with all these issues the food we did get was very good. I got the chilaquiles which was delicious and had some great flavors. My wife got the breakfast burrito which was also very good.
The coffee was freshly brewed and was a nice roast.
The atmosphere itself is very nice and has some great natural light. The restaurant is in a higher end resort and has a great little bar in the same common area.
Overall a great spot to try.

Layla is an elegant casual restaurant in an elegant little hotel. I had the Wagyu Steak Frites and it was one of the best I’ve had. Their fries were also the beat fries I’ve had in a long while. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, but I’d recommend sitting outside if the weather is nice to get the full experience of the hotel as a whole.

Quaint and Upscale, Kind of Beach-style decor. Small chairs, but they hove some bench seating for bigger folks. Reasonable prices. The cocktail was delicious and well made. Sandwich spectacular, so happy I got the BLT with the added smoked salmon; so much flavor. Would change the construction of the sandwich a bit with regards to the avocado being cut better or served in a different style because the chunks I had kept falling out upon eating. It’s a nice place, felt like a nice country club or golf course. The bar area looked amazing, I’d love to come back when it’s busy and perhaps have drinks in the bar area where the decor was more to my liking.

Love this place. There was complementary Valet parking which I absolutely loved. The staff was incredible. Margaux was our waitress and she was attentive, absolutely incredible and CUTE! Ashley the pastry chef came out to personally serve us our dessert and came out again to ask us how it tasted. It made us feel really special! The bartender from Scotland was so fun to chat with and the ambience of the entire venue was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I cannot wait to come back!

We had dinner here for my parents’ anniversary, and from start to finish, it was wonderful. Joe, our server, was attentive and even added a few thoughtful surprises to help us celebrate. The food was amazing, the flavors truly danced in my mouth. It was a quiet Sunday evening, but that didn’t impact the level of service we received. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing place to eat, one of my favorites in recent memory. The back patio was so pretty with lots of plants, nice lights and a great design.

They took really good care of us, and our food arrived in just the right amount of time. The herbed bread was yummy, but we absolutely loved the pumpkin tart. It was incredibly good.

We also tried the pasta and fish, and both were great. We would definitely order them again. I would strongly suggest this place! Layla was the perfect spot for our brunch.
Here’s why it was so good:
-It’s in Sonoma, just 20 minutes from the center of Napa.
-It wasn’t too busy!
-They have parking help
-They let you bring your dog
-The food is really good
-The people who work there are really nice
-The place looks beautiful
-We’re planning to come back soon!
