Great little place!
Our server was lively & fun witha full knowledge of the menu.
The menu isn’t huge, to me this is a good thing for their rotating seasonal items. The humus is a must try, I had the sirloin & it was cooked perfectly.

We had lunch at Layali today and it was absolutely fabulous! We got to chat with Chef Roni, who made the best recommendations… and wow, they did not disappoint! I had the warm goat cheese salad with salmon (so good!) and we finished with the flourless chocolate torte. OMG. Everything was incredible from start to finish. The flavors, the service, the atmosphere, just perfect.
If you haven’t been yet, go support local, this place is amazing!

The atmosphere is really well tailored, it’s tastefully designed, you feel like you are eating somewhere really classy.
I enjoyed the food. I got the Chicken Shawarma, with Hummus and a salad. The salad may have had a little too much dressing on it, but was good overall. I really liked the food presentation, it feels like they really take their time to make sure the food looks presentable.
The service was also really good. The server was friendly and approachable. They gave me a full detailed rundown of the menu’s details and any changes they were making.
Overall a really good experience.

I got the Angus beef filet which was amazing. It was so tender and juicy. The sauce on it was very flavorful. We also got the shrimp skewers appetizer which was good.

During our visit we had asked for them to turn the fans off as it was extremely cold. We were told they couldn’t turn off the ceiling fans as they are attached to the AC system. This caused our food to get cold very fast. I wanted to send my filet back to have them heat it up as it got very cold about 3/4 through eating it from the fans. However the staff didn’t check on us enough.

While there they had a performer by the bar with a guitar. It would have been fine if he was performing at an appropriate volume. However he was so loud that it made having a conversation difficult.

The staff was friendly but when we got the food they checked on us once quickly right after we got our food, then didn’t show up till later. I wanted to have them heat up my food but gave up and finished what I had even though it had gotten cold.

If I could give this place 4.5 stars I would, the dessert alone deserves 10 stars.

My drink was rather skimpy, it was an old fashioned with Makers Mark bourbon and it was basically $13 for 1 shot poured over ice. A bottle of Makers Mark costs $25, fill the glass up! It tasted great, don’t get me wrong….just put at least another shot in the cup.

I had the chicken so I could share with my son, they don’t really have kids’ menu. It was a little cold out of the kitchen but that could have been due to the size of our party, all of the other plates came out warm. From the time we arrived to the time we all got our food, it took about 1 hour.

My friend had the braised short ribs and her plate was astonishingly good, one of the best things I have ever tasted in my life.

The service was top notch, our waitress was awesome. She made sure everyone was taken care of and was very friendly. She complimented every plate well and we all enjoyed her.

The dessert was probably the highlight of the night, the baklava cheesecake was immaculate. The lemon terrimasu was to die for.

Overall, this place was amazing and we will definitely go back, probably without the kid next time. One other thing I want to mention, there is a 5% charge to use your debit/credit card so if you want to save a few bucks, take cash.

I want to support small businesses and highly recommend this restaurant, do not let the few negatives outweigh all of the many positives, this place is a must try.

We had such an amazing lunch on the patio at Layali. We had the chicken schwarma and it was outstanding. The hummus was light and delicious. The service was professional while personal. We are ready to go again!

We have been meaning to stop by for date night for a long time!

To start with we both got a glass of moscato and the whipped feta and herb dip. I got the saffron and lemon pasta, my hubby got the sirloin steak. To complete the evening we both had a crème brulé! The only thing we missed out on was the cigar case (it was raining ️ ☔️).

The service was great and dinner was above and beyond. If you haven’t stop by yet you DEFINITELY missing out!!

The restaurant is cute inside and I had so much hope for it. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer and it was nicely done. Tried the lentil soup and was surprised at how carrot-y it was. The beet salad was lovely and the dressing was perfect. The Greek salad was nice but was delivered only after the other salad and soup were almost gone. Had to ask the waitress about it. My brother in law ordered the chicken and it was tasty but served with a succotash and the feta cheese pudding. He said the different ingredients in the succorash were all cooked differently. The squash was hard albut the corn was good. He kept trying to find a taste to the feta pudding which was more like a bread pudding, just almost flavorless. The ribeye was cooked well but was coffee rubbed and the coffee was actually like a coating. It was served with green beans and 5 sliced potato pieces. Although it was cooked just as my husband asked, for a ribeye it was tough and a little grisly. My sister loved the pork chop which was flavored well and served with fingerling potatoes and green beans. I had the short rib served with mash and carrots. The carrots were a little overcooked hut the mash was well flavored. The short rib was delicious, tende4, and so very good. We also tried the egg nog creme brulee. It was good. The waitress didn’t seem very knowledgeable about some things on the menu but willing to ask. She also was not very quick to ensure we did not have empty glasses. And we were subjected to their live music. It was very loud. We asked if they could turn it down a little and he seemed to turn it up. I’m sure it might have been enjoyable if not blasted at us. All in all. It was ok. We will probably try again but we were just a little disappointed.

The restaurant was clean and the staff is friendly. We tried several appetizers and salads from the menu.

Our favorite was the peach bruschetta with hot honey. The salads were fresh and had great flavor. We didn’t try any of their main dishes, but plan to try the chicken and steak on our next visit.

They have a nice patio for outdoor seating.

Wonderful experience. Everything was beautifully presented and yummy. Service was excellent. Pic of Falafel wrap, side of hummus was swapped as we ordered hummus appetizer. I didn’t get a pic of the house burger. Pics of dessert were cake with figs & (can’t remember the name) and Baklava cheesecake. This place will keep you coming back for more.
