Please Please Please use more seasoning on Fish and Chicken fried to perfection but has a bland taste. .. too much oil in cabbage, Baked Beans were Great, potato salad was ok. Mac and cheese was a 2 if I had to give a number. My Greens were well seasoned but very COLD.. BUT THE DESSERT WAS AWESOME.. pound cake and German Chocolate Cake.. I spent $47 would I do it again?…Yess only for the dessert

Food is great. Customer service is not.
I came back after years away and placed a large order. The young woman at the counter was rude from the start. When I asked about the price of wings and fries, she said, “I can’t do all that, go online,” which made me limit my order.
At pickup, she was on a personal call on speaker. When I asked for extra lemon seasoning, she didn’t speak — just pointed. Same thing when I went to pay with Apple Pay: no words, just pointing at the card reader.
I don’t mind doing things myself, but basic communication and professionalism are part of the job.
The wings were AMAZING — shout out to the cook. Unfortunately, the service alone is enough for me not to return. I remember when this place had friendly, professional staff who could handle busy moments without the attitude.

I am writing to express a concern regarding a recent phone call I made to your location while attempting to place an order.
I called to ask basic questions about a wing meal, including the quantity of wings included, pricing, and available side options. I was simply trying to determine whether the meal came with 6, 10, or 12 wings so I could decide what best fit my needs.
Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with was unprofessional and dismissive in her tone. I felt as though I was being treated as if I should already know the menu, rather than being assisted as a customer seeking clarification. When I asked follow-up questions regarding side substitutions and potential upcharges, her responses became increasingly short and condescending, repeatedly stating that she had already explained the information instead of calmly restating it.
As a customer—and as a business owner myself—I understand that work can be stressful. However, customer service should always be delivered with patience, respect, and professionalism. Clear and courteous communication is essential, especially when customers are asking reasonable questions before placing an order.
Due to this interaction, I chose not to place an order. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as experiences like this can lead to lost customers and negatively impact a business’s reputation.
I strongly recommend additional training or coaching focused on customer interaction, tone, and professionalism. Treating every customer with respect and providing clear assistance goes a long way.

Lets start with there’s never traffic nor a line for people to get food. First red flag. Second red flag was there was not a soul in there during lunch hour rush.??? I’ve done been to all the restaurants in the plaza I thought I was saving the best for last nope. 3rd was the lady with a horrible attitude and customer service. I walked in and said hello mind you this my first time here, and I said to her one moment this my first time then she just pointed at a sign. I then say huh? Then she mumbled something and said she will be here regardless and walked away. I was confused because Ive gotten dismissed before I could even order
I took that and left and went to the other restaurant in the plaza. Where’s there good food and service.

I must say that I was truly disappointed with the customer service first of all. Then when I saw the overpriced chitterlens I was really upset. I ordered a corned beef sandwich with fries and a pickle. The fries and pickle was the best part of the meal. I also ordered liver rice and gravy meal with colle slaw. The slaw was horrible. With the food all around I should of cooked myself and saved myself some money. I would have to starve myself to go back. Its not like it use to be.FACTS (PERIOD)

Everything was bland. The mac&cheese was disgusting. It was swimming in buttery liquid, looked like soup. The noodles was so overcooked it was falling apart. The fried whiting and catfish were not seasoned and very chewy. The cornbread came in these tiny cut squares wrapped in plastic, and cold! Absolutely nasty! The fries was cold and not seasoned, not even a dash of salt. The pork ribs had a weird red sauce on it instead of bbq sauce. Looked like ham glaze. The tartar sauce they brought out was almost empty and the bottle was greasy. What a waste of $40 bucks. Will not go back.

The only reason I rated it 3 Stars overall was because of the Cashier. She was greeting customers, multi-tasking, courteous and respectful. Hardly get that kind of customer service anymore! The food: macaroni and cheese was just that, not cheesy or flavorful. Collard greens were good, a little over the top with the vinegar. They say they cook with turkey meat doesn’t mean you’re going to eat any! I didn’t. I enjoyed the cornbread. All those delicious looking cakes and sweet potato pies, did have my mouth watering. So I purchased a slice of carrot cake. I waited until I got home to bless my food to eat. That’s when I realized the whiting fish I purchased was mushy, undercooked, slightly seasoned. I had to place it in the oven baked it until it was done nice and crispy! Beware though, that slice of cake they charged $5. That was not homemade!! Nothing moist, or tasteful about it.

The fish batter was terrible. It was wet up underneath the batter. The fish was not well done. The cabbage had a whole lot of oil in. It seems like it’s been sitting for five or more days and they just keep warming it up very disappointed we don’t have that many Soulfood spots here do better.

Fish fist time was wet, second time to hard no seasoning. The wings were the same and ribs was not tender. I went on Sunday around 5:00 pm. The food was not fresh at all. I called them several times would not answer. I highly recommend it will not be ordering any thing from them again. Minus 5 stars, I tried to support our people. Money down the drain 18.95.
