We got the cinnamon roll, brownie, blueberry scone, banana bread, and blueberry muffin, and everything was amazing! Each item tasted so fresh and perfectly balanced, not too sweet, just right. It has been a long time since I had such a good cinnamon roll, and you can really taste the layers of flavor and care in everything they make. Definitely my new go-to bakery from now on!

My coworker brought in a variety of treats from this bakery and I was blown away. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and beyond delicious. The cinnamon rolls were soft and gooey, the croissants were perfectly flaky and buttery, the chocolate chip cookie and the banana bread were so tasty! Every single item was amazing. I can’t wait to make a trip to the store myself!

This bakery is fantastic! We tried the lemon bar, cinnamon roll, apple monkey bread and a chocolate croissant and then had a caprese sandwich. Everything was so good and fresh. The service was great as well! I had a dark chocolate hot tea that went so well with the pastries! We will definitely be back!

Cute shop with a window into the kitchen area to see the bakers working their art. You can taste how fresh everything is by biting into their pastries, and you get that lovely crisp and flaky texture. The kouign amanns were delicious. Great buttery flavor, crisp layers, and the caramelization with bits of crunchy coarse sugar on top was enough to make my knees weak.

Ok so everyone knows that Lavish has the best cinnamon rolls around, and that their croissants are insane in the best way possible… but did you know they also make an INCREDIBLE Focaccia??? Not the store-bought one with the tomatoes on top that look nice but taste all doughy… like, the real-deal focaccia straight out of a rustic Italian countryside served right there in Vernon Hills, Illinois. Ero en paradise the moment I bit into it.
Throw in the high-quality cold cuts and veggies (that arugula was perfetta!) and you’re about to have a way more memorable lunch than any chain-store sandwich shop.
Seriously, worth every penny. These guys don’t skimp on anything, so why should you??

You have great products. Unfortunately, the pricing feels extremely high for this area. Charging $6 for a croissant is hard to justify, especially when other bakeries nearby offer similar items at much more reasonable prices.
I understand you may use premium ingredients like high-end butter, and quality absolutely matters. But this isn’t downtown Chicago this is Vernon Hills. Pricing should reflect the local market and community you’re serving.
If the goal is to build consistent traffic and become a staple in the neighborhood, pricing needs to feel accessible. The community will support businesses they love but it has to feel fair and sustainable for families who want to come back regularly, not just occasionally.
Wishing you success, but I hope you consider adjusting prices to better align with the area and encourage long-term loyalty. For that reason I will not return word of mouth is the biggest marketing tool.

Such a gem! Chef Hailey and her team are so kind and helpful. I’ve visited a few times and nothing has disappointed me. The turkey sandwich is chef’s kiss on homemade focaccia. Cinnamon rolls are also crazy good but the croissants are also amazing! Lavish is defintely a must do if you want delicious treats and great service
