We ate at many restaurants during our trip to the island, and our dinner at L’Avenue was our favorite by far! We were served by Suzanne who was so lovely and friendly. I ordered the Early Bird special, offered 5-7pm, and highly, highly recommend it! I chose the truffle quiche with salad as my first course and it was so very delicious. For my second course I ordered the half beef stew, half seafood stew, which came with mashed potatoes. And for dessert I had vanilla ice cream with cranberry compote and Belgian waffle stick My goodness all of it was divine! I will be dreaming of both stews when I go back to snow at home.
My husband ordered the entrecôte with fries and salad and that was his favorite meal of the trip as well. They have a good kids menu (pasta with different sauces, steak, chicken nuggets) but our picky son went with the Belgian waffle with chocolate sauce. He ate all of it and never eats all of a breakfast dish like that.
We plan to return to the island someday and will definitely dine at L’Avenue again and again!

L’Avenue Aruba delivers a truly outstanding dining experience. This Belgian bistro combines refined comfort food with exceptional quality, and every dish we tried was absolutely amazing—beautifully prepared and full of flavor.
What really elevated the evening was the personal touch from our waiter: attentive, warm, and genuinely passionate about the menu, which made us feel instantly welcome. The wine and cocktail selection is excellent and perfectly complements the food, whether you’re in the mood for a classic pairing or something more adventurous.
A wonderful atmosphere, great service, and memorable food—L’Avenue Aruba is a place we will definitely visit again very soon. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience. Had to come back for dinner after lunch the same day as there was so many items we wanted to taste and lunch as so good. For those of you who follow me I like to take pictures of the food and you will notice a few dishes are half water and one was GONE. I was so darn excited to dig in I forgot to take pictures till it was so late. We had the croque monsieur, chèvre salad and apple tart for lunch and for dinner the Brussels sprout salad Belgian Beef Stew and the Vol Au Vent which you can think of like a deconstructed chicken pot pie but even better. So many highlights but the owner, Tina helped us pair an amazing selection of Belgian beers with our meal. We finished dinner with the Belgian chocolate layer cake. The service from Suzanne, Vivian and owner this is a must see dining stop while in Aruba.

This is a great new restaurant from the people that own Papillon, which is another one of our favorites. The food is amazing. You have to try the seafood stew or beef stew, it’s excellent. Plus the staff are all so nice, especially Suzan who is always so happy and upbeat! Plus my wife has a gluten allergy and they’ve always been able to take very good care of her. Highly recommend!

Delicious brunch – highly recommend!
We had a lovely brunch at L’Avenue and I’d definitely recommend it. Every last Sunday of the month they do a special brunch menu – very reasonably priced and full of tasty, varied dishes.
We were with a group of six and had a great time. The service was super friendly, they were careful with my allergies, and everything we tried was really good. The fun part about this brunch is that you get lots of smaller dishes, so you can try a bit of everything.
We really enjoyed it and would love to come back!

This is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Aruba, we had the mussels in white wine sauce, Belgian beef stew, Caribbean sea bass and Crepe Suzette which were all superbly seasoned and prepared. Suzan who helped us was such a delight!! What a great dining experience!!!

Our first visit to this restaurant was in 2024, when they first opened. This restaurant has a Belgium flair. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we returned this year. Definitely a place to try.

I was at L’Avenue last week. The staff were perfectly polite and attentive. Honestly, they tried their best. The problem isn’t them. How are they supposed to perform at a place like this?
The glasses barely catch the light correctly. The napkin folds look uneven depending on where you sit. The lighting is just off enough to make everything feel slightly staged and awkward. Classic European approach, really. So casual, so willing to settle for “good enough.”
Your staff work hard. They deserve better. If the environment matched their effort, this place could be extraordinary. As it stands, it just looks… sloppy. Most guests won’t notice, but I do.

Great food and setting. Based on location, you wouldn’t think this place is as good as it is! A nice menu with a great selection of food and beers. They also have some Belgian options on the menu like mustard soup, which was delicious!
