I’m so glad we happened to find the lavender cocinita. It is a nice little lunch spot. The staff are warm and inviting. The interior is cute and refreshing. The food was really good. Everything was fresh and unique. I had a green chile turkey sandwich (sorry I don’t remember the exact name), the croissant was flakey and soft, turkey was piled high and veggies were fresh. The in-house chips were crisp but not overly hard and had a unique seasoning that was delicious. My child had a kids cheese burger, the fries were fresh home-cut and her burger was cooked well but still tender. My husband got green chile enchiladas, he said they seemed like homemade tortillas (yum) lots of cheese and the green chile wasn’t overly hot. It came with well seasoned fried potatoes and beans. Overall I think this is a great spot to try and definitely will come back again next time we’re in Albuquerque.

Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday as I was in the area. You order at the counter which was quick and friendly. The food came out in around ten minutes and they bring it to your table. I had the calabacitas burrito which was huge and really good. It came with a small side salad. Nice stop and I will come by again when I am in the area.
