First time here since I’m not from the area. 10 out of 10 recommend. We got kefta, lamb chops, and the special morrocan chicken which we all shared (I forgot to take pics of individual dishes because we were too excited to dive in). The owner was super welcoming and gave a free hummus for our 1st time, which was AMAZING by the way. The food was all delicious and the service was great! I would absolutely take a day trip just to come and eat here!

Lavash is a very solid Mediterranean spot and absolutely worth checking out.

I had the chicken shawarma and beef shawarma, both of which were really great. The flavors were on point and the portions were generous. I also tried the lamb chops, which were fantastic. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The rice was flavorful and delicious, the salad was fresh and yummy, and the hummus was really good and even on the house, which was a nice touch.

The standout for me was the house-made hot sauce. Hands down the best hot sauce I’ve ever had. The garlic sauce was also extremely good and they’re very generous with it.

The staff was super, super nice, and the inside is very cozy and welcoming. There’s plenty of parking in the back, which makes it easy to visit. Even if this place gets popular, it still doesn’t feel like it would be overwhelming or cramped.

One small note: I was a bit confused on tipping. You order at the front, but there is table service with food being brought out and tables being cleaned, so I wasn’t sure how that worked. That said, the service itself was excellent.

Overall, the food, staff, and atmosphere were all top-tier. If you’re looking for Mediterranean food in Ohio, Lavash is an excellent choice. I’d definitely come back again.

Uniquely Authentic
Not the first time I’ve had Lavash, I ate it in the past with college colleagues. However on this occasion I was treated to dinner by an associate and it was great, I enjoyed the food on my plate. ️ Lentil Rice, Chicken Kabobs, Pita Bread, and Hummus. The food was good however my vegetables on my kabobs were a little over grilled; blackened. But nevertheless everything was still tasteful. I even sampled some food from my friend’s plate, a lamb chop which was good.

Saw this place featured in a Twenty Øne Piløts music video and wanted to try it out. I’m so happy I did! The staff were super kind and attentive.

The food was delicious and the servings were huge! Luckily, we saved room for dessert and had the pistachio cream cake.

The cafe itself was spacious and had outdoor and indoor seating. The parking lot was very convenient as this cafe is close to the college and student living. Definitely will have to eat here again!

Select table and order at counter where they will give you a number. Atmosphere is all hard surfaces. There is a separate dining area used during busier times as well as outdoor tables. Food quality is excellent. Pita bread is very fresh. Smoothies also excellent and do not contain dairy, unless you add whipped cream. Staff will clear your table.

This is my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the Columbus area. The portion sizes are generous. Expect to take leftovers home. The staff is friendly and helpful. Indoor seating is limited but there is plenty of patio seating. The entree dishes come with a pita basket and salad. The main dish has rice, side of sauce, and the protein. The rice is out of this world! I rank it the best I’ve had. The kebob and shawarma dishes were juicy and flavorful. I highly recommend!

I was in Columbus from Dayton and googled “fattoush salad” and decided to try Lavash. That is all I ordered >>fattoush salad<<. I was anticipating a wonderful experience for my taste buds but was disappointed at the first bite. It was the most un-fattoush tasting salad I've ever eaten. It was more like a basic romaine salad with diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and what tasted like *vinaigrette* dressing (with some bread crisps thrown in). No sumac. No salted-lemon-juice taste. No pomegranates (I know every restaurant doesn't add poms). I'm a fattoush connoisseur and this was a big disappointment. The ingredients were very fresh though (5 stars) and I ate it... but....whew. I'm still yearning for a real fattoush salad.

Also, I ordered take out and did not have any utensils to eat with in my bag.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I especially loved the chicken and beef Kefta. The staff was friendly and attentive. It’s great to have a place that serves high-quality halal food with such great service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful experience at this Middle Eastern restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. From the moment my family and I walked in, the owner, Mr. Naser Latif, made us feel genuinely welcome and truly special. He is a super host—kind, generous, and attentive—and his hospitality alone sets this place apart.
The food was 100% authentic and instantly reminded us of the home cooking we grew up loving. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and prepared with care. Portions were very generous, the prices were extremely reasonable, and the quality exceeded our expectations.
The restaurant itself was exceptionally clean, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Service was prompt, and all the employees were courteous, professional, and friendly.
Having traveled around the country and Europe and visited many Middle Eastern and Mediterranean restaurants, we can confidently say this place is truly exceptional—one of the best we’ve experienced. Thank you, Mr. Naser Latif, for making us feel at home. We sincerely wish there were more places like this across the country, where customers are treated with such warmth and served such outstanding food. People should try it to believe it. We are now loyal customers, and we look forward to visit with you again when we visit Columbus.

5 stars across the board isn’t enough! Lavash is a family favorite and long-time go to for us, other restaurants come close but it’s just not the same. I do think it’s a scam putting the bakery case by the registers and in front of my pickup order though. Chicken shawarma with their garlic sauce and the grape leaves are my favorite!
