Family owned diner with very good food. Owner is very friendly. They do have service dogs that will jump into the seat next to you. Fine by me, but just something to be aware of.

If you want a fantastic meal, this is the place!! The breakfast burrito is my favorite! My Son loves the roughneck. Prices are great, portions are huge, and food is fresh. It’s a fun family diner experience, with a hometown feel. Watch for specials, like steak night where steaks are charcoal grilled outdoors. If you want cooking like your Moms, try Lauries!! YUM!!!

The biscuits and gravy are out of this world good! The eggs and hash browns were cooked perfectly for me. I would’ve rated them if the service was half as good as the food. The service on the other was horrible. I was greeted when I first came in and then about 5 minutes for a waitress to come over and then I placed my drink order and food order. I didn’t get any water for 15 minutes, and only then because I went to the waitress and she brought over and then didn’t check on it for 10 minutes. I overheard that they were slammed and that would’ve been fine, but, as soon as one of their friends came in they took great care of them while ignoring most others. I will try back at sometime to see if this was just an oddity.

I had breakfast with my family here and there’s no doubt that this is a small family owned mom and pop shop. They have a book exchange for readers. I got the club sandwich and it was ok, I was glad they gave two pickle spears. The owners have two small service dogs who freely roam in the restaurant, and they might give you some treats to give the dogs. This place badly needed new tiles for the drop down ceiling.

As I am reading the other reviews, I see that their ceiling has had a problem for a long time. My daughter heard good things about this restaurant and we decided to go in and eat, it was very disgusting, very dirty I was scared that the ceiling was going to fall down on our heads. I ordered eggs over medium and they came out wet and slimy so they took my ex back and gave me two new ones not really medium but I went ahead and ate them. The booth we sat in was wet so I’m assuming that the water was coming out of the ceiling to fix it, they put up pink trash bags it’s not going to hold. They have two dogs running around underneath the tables it would have been a tragedy if we would have stepped on one. Also the owner was out front talking with some people as she’s drinking alcohol at 12:15 in the morning, I’m not one to judge but if you’re going to drink maybe keep it out of the family setting out front? Service was okay we had to go up to the cash register to get our ticket. That was really hoping for a great place to eat with good food but I will not be back even if they get all of their ceiling fix the dust cleaned up air conditioner fixed and that owner stops drinking. This is all just my opinion about the alcohol if she wants to drink that’s fine but don’t bring it out in the public.

We had to wait over an hour for our breakfast that turned into lunch. The owners dog was wondering around in the seating area of the resteraunt.
