I was in the area today and googled for a good burger. This place was 4 mins down the road. I got a double cheeseburger with seasoned fries. I don’t know how they make those fries crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, but they are so good. I wanted more. The burger rivals the best in Lafayette. Now I will say Laurie’s burgers are big, don’t get a double unless your ready. I was feeling like a big back when I finished it. Will bring my son soon as we both enjoy a great burger and fry. The plate lunches seem popular while I was picking my order up today and several regulars said I needed to try it. May have to.

Never a disappointment with this place! Fried fish was on point, pork steak on point, rice dressing on point.. you will most certainly get your fill! Also a small little convenient store. I like to shop local and here you can do so while getting great food! They sell propane also as a heads up!
