I ordered a tuna sandwich (I don’t remember the name of it, sorry) and a coconut cream pie. The sandwich is very good, well seasoned and balanced. While the pie is not. The pie is soggy and tastes awful. Looks like it’s been there for a long time and started to melt and lose its shape. You can see in my picture that it could not hold its shape.

This is a 5 star restaurant. Quality of food, service, cleanliness and cuteness are all 5 star! I stopped by for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The place was buzzing with customers filling up the dining room. I was immediately waited on by a friendly waitress. I decided on the grilled chicken on one of their soft sourdough rolls. It was so delicious, all I had on the chicken was their melted cheese drizzled with a well balanced not too sweet or vinegary BBQ sauce. The bread was amazing so I brought home 6 rolls. The owners work very hard to ensure that their food and service are well above our expectations.
Update on 1/2026:
5 stars again, but this time I had the BLT. Of course, I switched out their yummy Texas toast for their amazing sourdough roll. Superb! Bacon was thick, tender and juicy. One of the best BLTs I’ve ever eaten. Tried the fried dill pickles. Good stuff! My side was what they called a chilled peach soup which was a delicious sweet dessert.

We stumbled upon this cafe when all the ones on the main walk were crowded. This is now our place to eat in Georgetown. The waitress was nice, attentive and personable. The old fashion hamburger was large and tasty. Wasn’t expecting such a good hamburger from a little place. If you want a small cafe atmosphere with great food at reasonable prices, then this is for you.

Great place. Kind of like going to grandmas house. Chicken salad had bacon was good, egg salad was ok, loved the tomatoes cucumber salad, the congealed salad was good. I think they overcharged us a little. Friends loved the lemonade. Kids liked the grilled cheese

I always enjoy coming here. The food is delicious, the service is awesome, and the atmosphere is cozy. Today I got the Cobb salad and it was great! Everything I have tried has been good and not just that tastes nice, but I feel satisfied in my belly and soul. the peach soup is superb

When we arrived every table was either full or dirty. The wait staff moved quickly to clear a table. There is a wide selection of menu options. Food was good. Atmosphere is relaxing. Good place to stop in, right off the square. Not very memorable. It was good, but not amazing.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. Incredible food, lovely and efficient service. We came at lunch time on Monday and there was a harp player! Amazing atmosphere.

A wonderful gem in downtown Georgetown TX. I recently visited in early 2022 during their lunch hour and ordered a crab quiche with cob salad. If I felt comfortable licking the plate, I would have, completely. It was that good. Laurie’s is a great place to get quiche, as they have it on the menu, with various types to choose from. Laurie’s is more of a diner with light meals. However, you can also get casserole dishes to pick up and cook at home. I would love to try their King Ranch Casserole.

Cool little place to go up and have a little sandwich or a hamburger hamburgers are really big and honestly need to be shared with somebody else plenty of other sandwiches and soups that they have here the desserts are also pretty good the selection of somewhat limited compared to other restaurants but there’s enough on the menu for people to choose from go out and support this local cafe and enjoy
