I saw these sourdough cinnamon rolls WITH NO ICING/FROSTING which is so rare and decided to give them a try. Absolutely wonderful flavor, texture, easy to reheat in the morning. They pull apart and I would sprinkle a very few drops of water on it and cover with a paper towel and heat in my microwave for 15 seconds. Thank you Laurel Mountain, for giving me a trip back in time to my Great Grandma Nellie Snider’s kitchen in Ohio. Yours were the closest to hers I’ve ever tasted.

Overall taste is pretty good for almost all of the baked goods from here. I used to buy pretty frequently before taking a closer look at the ingredients list which is quite extensive for being what it is. I’m curious as to why potatoes are used in making is that to help cut cost? Also the use of vegetable and canola oils especially knowing the harm and effects of cheap seed oils on the human body. It’s a shame i love to support local i hope the company chooses to make their baked good with more mindful ingredients in the future

I visited for the first time yesterday. The lady running the store was very nice and they had quite a variety of flavored (herbs/ cheeses etc. added)sourdough breads. This morning I had bacon cheddar sourdough toast and it was the best toast I’ve ever had! Nice crunch on the outside but still moist and yummy inside. I also appreciate that they don’t bury the cinnamon rolls with icing like everyone else does.

Just stopped by to pick up a pie and some bread. The lady behind the counter was very rude! All we asked – very nicely – if she had any cherry pies made. She very rudely replied sarcastically “No”! When I asked what time the cherry pies will be done, she again replied very sarcastically “2:00”! We won’t be back! Get some Midol!!!

I could eat a whole loaf in one sitting. The store is not too far off the interstate so I recommend trying it if you are passing by. It’s in a adorable old house. I do miss the bench on the front porch though.

The Rosemary Thyme Sourdough is the most delightful bread I’ve ever had in my whole life. It’s sweet, it’s herby, it’s decadent, it’s rich and tastes so homemade and fresh.

Amazing sourdough and fudge pie! My mom bought some on her way back from Knoxville to bring back to our family lunch in Nashville, and wow it was amazing!! Fudge pie was rich and delicious, would buy one again in a heartbeat. I loved the plain sourdough loaf, but we also tried the herbal thyme/rosemary bread and the savory herbal sourdough. It was amazing and I hope my mom comes by again soon. She said everyone in there was super sweet!

We love vacations in middle TN, this bakery in one reason why… Our experience here was amazing, as I finish eating the last bite of Sourdough infused with Cheese and Bacon ,
We also got a loaf of Cinnamon Rasin Sourdough… Fresh, soft, not heavy, and absolutely delicious especially warmed with a touch of butter, or apple butter.
The young woman that waited on us was kind, thoughtful and pleasant during our blessed visit. The bakery is in a well maintained house just of 136 in Monterey, a few minutes from Standing Stone SP
We had our breakfast sandwich on the Bacon Cheese Sourdough, lightly toasted, til the cheese and bacon flavors were slightly flowing, simply delicious, and tasty, a different type texture compared to hard Sourdough breads .
She had Cinnamon Rolls too, we just had room for the two loaves during our trip. We will be back next year, God willing!
