Another first time visit. Recommended by my son. When we arrived an employed heard us by opening the door for us! Offered their menu even asking if we’d eaten there before. Even thug the menu is at the counter she handed us each a menu and sat down to take our time and asking questions as she returned from time to time.
Service was excellent. Food was great! I had their egg quesadilla and substituted turkey instead of ham. It was fantastic. I also substituted the salad and had their potatoes instead. I’m one that doesn’t believe in a salad with an egg meal.
I will definitely be back.

I’ve wanted to try this place out for a while and finally did. I went up to the register and asked for drinks from their seasonal menu that they just posted to their Instagram yesterday and the cashier said they no longer offer that. Really? After just one day? But then she said they could make it after consulting with a different employee. When it was time to pay, I went to put in my phone number at the end for the rewards, and the cashier said that next time to put my phone number at the beginning. Next time? Umm there probably will not be a next time. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or what but she was not very friendly. Food was decent but small portions and the drinks taste like something I could make at home. Anyway, I really wanted this to be a nice outing with my small family and I found myself just wanting to get out of there. It was sad because this really put a damper on my day.

Laurel Café is WOW! We had the Banana Matcha Late, Pumpkin Pie Late, Morning Sandwhich, Egg Crioussant, & an Almond Croissant.
I recommend literally each of these items. Normally Pumpkin Late’s are too sweet or too pumpkiny but not this one! Super well made and tasty.
I normally don’t like scrambled eggs but however Laurel Cafe does theirs in their sandwiches is DAMN GOOD!
The two brothers and rest of staff provided stellar service with a smile. 5-Stars! Well done Laurel Cafe

I visited today with a friend and we are so happy we chose the Laurel Cafe! Our salads were generous, fresh, and delicious. The almond croissant was tasty and flaky. From where I was seated, I could see other patrons’ food being brought out and it all looked equally good! I think this is the best place to catch brunch in Stone Oak with a pretty atmosphere and friendly employees. We will go back!

If I could give this place more than five stars, I would! We were greeted right away by a friendly young woman who even opened the door for us. The food was great and the environment was very clean. We chose to sit outside, and one of the staff members went out of their way to clean a table for us and set out napkins with salt and pepper while we waited for our food. Such a wonderful place to grab breakfast or lunch!

The chilaquiles bowl was absolutely on point—great flavors at a solid price. I love the crunch of the chips, the tasty green salsa, and the queso fresco. It’s my go-to dish here. The place is small but chic, and the staff is always friendly and attentive.

Decent food. Nice little cafe to visit if your in the area with a variety if quick bites. Music was modern. Cashier seemed to have attitude while ordering but just kept it polite and paid for meal. Went on a day they closed at 3 and closed the kitchen at 2. We got there at 1:37 with plenty of time to order. If you want food make sure you get there before 2 during the week.

This is a delightful little café! I visited with one other person and we ordered the breakfast bowl, the wrap it up, honey lavender lemonade, and an iced white mocha latte. The service was so friendly. The wrap was delicious! I didn’t love the salsa verde but everything else in the breakfast bowl was amazing. There wasn’t any lavender flavor in the lemonade and the white mocha was just okay. I will definitely visit again to try something else on the menu the next time I’m in town. There were some other delicious-sounding options.

This is a charming spot for breakfast and brunch. The café offers a nice atmosphere, complete with indoor seating and a patio that overlooks a golf course.
The menu includes breakfast croissants, sandwiches, and pastries. Personally, my meal was far below expectations. I ordered the Chilaquiles with red sauce and was very disappointed; the tortilla chips were literally from a bag of corn chips bought at a grocery store – not even actual tortillas cut into pieces; the refried beans were out of can and simply reheated; the sauce didn’t seem to be freshly made and it had a certain taste that only comes from pre-packaged ingredients. Overall, the dish was not good at all.
On the bright side, the almond croissant is tasty with great flavor and freshness. But they sold out of Matcha, so I was a bit upset that I couldn’t enjoy a drink with my almond croissant.
Service is decent, with staff members being friendly, but lack motivation. But maybe I visited when they were having a bad morning. The café operates on a counter-service model, where customers place orders at the counter, and the food is brought to their tables. This setup contributes to a relaxed and unpretentious dining experience.
Laurel Café offers a pleasant ambiance. while not extraordinary, it provides satisfying options for a casual meal. It’s a good spot for a easy and quick meal, however, set your expectations to low.

Extremely quaint little brunch restaurant! I got the Morning Sandwich, which was extremely delicious! My girlfriend got some pancakes and eggs and they were also good. They also have a very attractive selection of baked goods to choose from, all of which look quite tasty. Be aware though: they only have canned sodas and no fountain. That’s not a bad thing but it’s just good to know.
