Recently stopped in on our way through town, service was great and they were nice enough to discount one of our meals. However, the salsa tasted like sweet acid (like it was bad). The food was terrible. Tasteless, soggy, and just sad. I found it heavily over priced and very disappointing.

UPDATE TO ORIGINAL 5 STAR REVIEW .
Went back to this restaurant hoping for a repeat 5 star performance. No! It was the most horrible Mexican food you can imagine. Real garbage.. I was so disappointed. Before I had only ordered the breakfast I described below,, but this time we ordered the tamales and the releno. I don’t know what has changed, I heard they opened a new location. Maybe the good cooks are over there, but definitely I won’t go back to this one! One notch above dog food on the tamales. And they looked old and just not good. The relenos were flat, thin and runny. Ticket was close to 40.00 with tip for 2 people. Waste of money. Just pitiful. What happened?…here’s my original review of 5 stars: I stopped in here recently because I’d never tried it. OMG! I was impressed. I ordered the breakfast lovers on the menu and what I got was unbelievable. The plate was huge, more like a round platter as big as a large pizza and it was full of food. Good food!! 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 biscuits and gravy, big serving of hash browns. It was all cooked to perfection. Wonderful. I could not eat it all!! I took half of it home. UPDATE: went back with a friend a month later. STILL THE SAME. AWESOME PLACE! WORTH THE DRIVE.

Stopped here while in town visiting from out of state and the food was soooo good! I really loved the queso and the shredded beef that was in my burrito. Portions are great and staff are friendly.

Absolutely delicious! We ordered a half portion of Polo Loco and a full order of beef fajitas. We could not finish it all despite how flavorfull, tender and tasty it was. Portions are generous. I highly recommend Lauras Mexican Kitchen especially if you are hungry. The staff was very friendly and service was quick.
