The place is totally awesome with a PERFECT outdoor patio! Inside is open and has sweet decor. It was really good for family dinner with space for kids and even a book bin!
Staff was helpful but had some difficulties with a vegan order (double-stacking the broccoli when our kids only like broccoli) but we all worked through it and got some good vegan food!
Food was good, solid vegan options. The Tempe and the tofu were pretty bland though… the adults in my group got the Banh Mi bowl and the Tempe burrito . Both were good… but they were both bland… additionally some garlic and salt please, or even some Chipotle/pepper seasoning, it is a burrito afterall… what made the burrito much better was adding the salsa from the chips and salsa. If you like a little pep in your step, adding the salsa is a must!!! The other hot sauces were just lacking body and distinct flavor.
Overall, I would say 7/10. I think it could easily be a 8-9 with a better flavor profile on the vegan options.
I will come back if I am in town, thanks for a great dinner for my family.
The staff were all friendly and welcoming
The menu was very accommodating and catered for everyone’s needs ( as far as I could see)
I had a chicken quesadilla and my husband had the Thai bowl (tofu)
Both were large and delicious .
The guacamole was fresh and plentiful too along with great chips to dip into it .
I would give this place 10/10 for sure .
Give it a try – you will be pleasantly surprised as we were
However, the burritos completely fall apart. I’m pretty sure this is avoidable because I’ve had many burritos in my life that don’t fall apart.
So basically, if you go here, just get a bowl or a salad, because that’s what your burrito will turn into as soon as you pick it up.
They ask that you bus your own tables and keep the To go boxes near the place you put used dishes. They have a decent selection of foods and their menus are well organized.
You can order the burritos without a foil wrap if you want to be more eco friendly.
