I would recommend this place if you’re looking for higher quality food of what they have on the menu, but I’m not sure if it would be recommended because they have a special item. I’d also like to note that this place is $10-20 because they have dishes like the Thai noodles that can fill you up, but can also get expensive if you decide to add other dishes.

This restaurant remains one of the best dollar-for-dollar values on sushi in Boston. Some amazing looking pieces come out of that kitchen. The Thai food selection is also extensive and delicious. The Omakase experience is well worth a visit on a special occasion.

My office is located near by and this is my go to lunch spot, as in the only place I ever go! I really like that they have a variety of lunch specials and an easy online order process. I’ve gotten their noodles, sushi, and chicken dishes and found them all delicious – the sushi rolls are very big which I appreciate and most of the noodles comes with sides of crushed peanuts, chilli flakes etc. It’s a little pricey, I definitely couldn’t afford this place if I went to the office more often but it works for now!

Small and cozy spot for Thai & Japanese food! Would come here again for one all time favorite Thai street food dish of mine- Moo Ping. They really nailed the authentic taste and it made me miss home so much! Staff were very friendly and took good care of us

An absolutely brilliant and highly innovative restaurant! Personally I would not consider this to be a Thai restaurant, as the menu seems to be predominantly Japanese.

Visited ‘The Laughing Monk’ in Boston and was absolutely delighted by the experience. The Thai dishes are authentic, bursting with flavors that transport you straight to the streets of Bangkok. Coupled with the warm ambiance and attentive staff, this spot is a gem in Boston’s dining scene. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a memorable Thai meal.

I absolutely love this restaurant. Everything here is great but their sushi is truly unmatched. I’ve had the shrimp tempura, salmon, spicy tuna – all incredibly fresh and flavorful. Their lunch specials are delicious too.

I have never in my life gotten my food so quickly as at Laughing Monk Cafe. We sat, we looked over the menu and got two sushi rolls and some spicy fried noodles. After ordering it could not have been longer than 2-3 minutes before we received our first sushi roll and hot noodles with crispy chicken cooked perfectly. They barely had time to take our plates away before giving us our deluxe roll, the firey dragon roll, which they made look like an actual dragon! This was so very cool. If you are looking for high quality eats served so quickly and efficiently that your head will spin this spot is ideal. I recommend getting the dragon roll because it’s totally sick.
