Staying at an AirBNB in Thompsonville, found this recommended bar and grill. Full of great atmosphere, clean, bright. This was on a Tuesday! Going back today and will everyday while we are here. We’re farmers from NW Indiana.

Great food! The fried pickles were very good. Staff was friendly. This place definitely needs a face lift. Way to dark inside for the middle of the day. Smoke from the grill filled the bar a little bit.

Fun place and friendly people. I’d like to see them have a more traditional menu in line with typical ‘bar food’. The cheese sticks aren’t what you’d expect. Wasn’t deep fried cheese. Waitresses are friendly enough but some seem to stick to the side of the bar where the kitchen is. A little more awareness is much appreciated. Will return.

I have visited many places. I just think that the please is just right for many reasons. The owners are nice and kind. I meet some very interesting and nice people. Plus ➕$2 burgers. I will be going back! What was interesting to me is, Crystal Mountain is right down the road and all of them people have no idea that there is Diamond is right down the road.

First visit to the Horse. Large area for sit down dining, large bar, large area for dancing with DJ. Friendly staff and good food, tried the Friday fish, excellent large portion. Can’t speak to the well drinks, I stayed simple with good old PBR. Prices were reasonable. I will return.
