I’ve now visited the Laughing Crab 3 times, and every time the food has been incredibly good. Our food comes out promptly, hot and the servers have always been extremely friendly and helpful.
The combo portions are hefty and great because of the variety.
If you haven’t been there, I would definately recommend, as for us it’s always been a great experience!

Sat down, ordered food/drinks. The food was at our table within 15 minutes. Our waitress was incredible! Very sweet and welcoming. Drove up there from Columbus, Ne to eat. See you guys again very soon!

Real Cajun boils & fried fish – fun atmosphere, love the paper table covers – just like down south/east coast crab boils – food comes out promptly & HOT! – the best soft shell crab ever, large, meaty, perfectly breaded & fried – superbo! – the fried oysters where bigger & plumper than the hush puppies – mmm, good- great value/reasonable prices + generous portions – attentive staff – literally a seafood feast – thanks for opening in Lincoln!

First time trying Laughing Crab and it was pretty good. Very flavorful. We got the Combo D which the king size snow crab, shrimp and sausages. It comes with two corn, potatoes and 2 boiled eggs. The drinks were good too. We were seated immediately. The tables are kind of tight but we were comfortable.

We ate at Laughing Crab this weekend & it was a wonderful experience. The service was great & the boils we ordered were absolutely delicious! We were there for our daughter’s Bday, but we didn’t tell them that ~ they must have just heard us talking about it when checking on us different times to dump our shell bucket &/or refill our drinks, but they gave her a free cheesecake dessert!!!! So thoughtful & kind! We’ll definitely return again to enjoy their fun restaurant ~ I encourage anyone to try them out!

First time visiting, and it was a good experience. My wife got a boil variety which was all good. I got a fried shrimp basket which came with 10 large shrimp. The restaurant is small so seating is a little tight. Service was decent, drink refills left a little to be desired.

This place took over the old Five Guys location at the mall, and their menu boasts a wide assortment of seafood items. I ordered a fried calamari basket from their weekday lunch menu for less than $10 and enjoyed it very much. Can’t wait to try their seafood boil and soft shell crab next.

The food was delicious You got quite a bit of crab for your money. Definitely more than you would if you went to Red Lobster. It was really good, the atmosphere of the restaurant was fun. It wasn’t a boring, overly modern restaurant that looks like a like doctor’s office waiting room.It was cheeky and fun.My kids loved it even my daughter who is like the pickiest person on the planet. Loved it.We will definitely be going there again.It might be our new special night out restaurant which we do have every once in a while for sure, and it’s something we can actually all agree on which is very hard to do.

My wife, son, and I ate here for $40 after tip and were able to have crab rangoon, a kids meal, and a make your own combo!
Fantastic price, phenomenal food, and great service.
We will be back, this is a must stop at the mall.
Genuinely so impressed by this unassuming little restaurant!

I visited for my birthday and was disappointed with the overall experience. The food was acceptable, but not comparable to similar restaurants such as Cajun Crab & Pho or Yummy Crab in Omaha, and the dining area was a bit cold. I repeatedly requested a drink refill and was ultimately assisted by a different server. When I inquired about birthday specials, I was told that because I asked “last minute,” I could not receive a to-go box.
My server, REBECCA, provided poor service and later insisted on receiving a tip. When my significant other declined due to the service quality, she questioned our tipping habits. Tips should be earned through good service, not requested. Overall, I DO NOT recommend this establishment and suggest dining elsewhere.
