Latino Flavor Grille is our consistent go to several times a month. Carlos is always so welcoming and the food is always fresh and cooked to perfection! We also always grab a couple of trays of food when we have house guests. The specials are always unique and it’s fun to try new dishes. They have local wine available if you forget your own. Make sure you try the enchiladas if you are new, also the Manchego salad, the ropa vieja, or the mofongo, Can’t go wrong! Cheers!

We went to celebrate my sister’s birthday, This restaurant was absolutely incredible! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. We came as a party of 8 and were seated comfortably with plenty of space. The food was beyond amazing—each dish was beautifully plated with stunning attention to detail, and every bite was bursting with flavor. You can truly see and taste the care put into every meal. I cannot recommend this place enough—it’s a must-visit spot that I’d happily return to again and again!

Latino Flavor Grille (LFG!) is an absolute gem! As first-time visitors, we were completely charmed from the moment we walked in. You’re greeted with such a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like you’re on vacation(ish), and it’s clear this place has a loyal following. I loved seeing so many clients who seemed to be regulars, shaking hands with several employees and even knowing our fantastic server, Rosemary, by name. The decor truly added to the experience too, with fresh flowers on every table and beautiful anthurium plants adorning the walls, creating a vibrant and welcoming space. Even their menu design was great, featuring diverse cultural representations.
About the food – wow! The beef empanadas and chicken empanadas were nothing short of fantastic. Crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with delicious filling on the inside. Seriously, they were out of this world! Everything else we ordered was just as incredible, fresh, and authentic. If you’re looking for amazing Latin American cuisine with a welcoming feel, lovely ambiance, and attention to every detail, look no further than LFG. We loved it and can’t wait to go back!

This was our first visit an we couldn’t have loved it more! The food was great and had many options. Our server Anna was wonderful- she was very attentive and was able to explain and recommend several dishes. You can buy wine although if you’re not a wine drinker, it’s also a BYOB. We’ll definitely be back!

We were traveling back home from Cape May and found this place. The exterior was lovely with raised bed planters of flowering hibiscus tree of beautiful colors! When we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly staff and seated immediately. The price of the appetizer and entrée were affordable. The entrée were of a good portion, serving 3 pieces of chicken breast, rice, beans and some veggies. It was very filling and excellent flavor! Try the sancocho, it was so good!

Moving back down to the shore after living near Paterson New Jersey had me seriously craving Latin Caribbean food again, and where could I find that in Manahawkin? Right here at Latino Flavor Grille! The tostones were the highlight followed by the empanadas, and lastly, the arroz con gandules. This restaurant does an incredible job being that I doubt that they have authentic chefs for each Caribbean style of food they offer so I was happy to at least get my cravings met as close as possible down the shore. The only thing that missed was the arroz con gandules. It was lacking in sofrito y sazón, and the rice wasn’t the right consistency.

This place is absolute magic! Any type of spinach dish you can think of they have it from paella to pernil, this place knows flavor!
I had the trifongo with chicken && absolutely bring you away! Also, the skirt steak with rice was incredible and the pernil was so tender and delicious. It tasted just like my grandmother used to make !
Even the chorizo jalapeño soup was incredible, every dish I’ve had from here has been just amazing!

The food was very good, bursting with flavor, and the service was excellent. I will recommend to family and friends and will not hesitate to drive 45 minutes to dine here again. Nice job. Compliments to the chef. Food was nice and fresh.

Originally, I thought I was going to have a poor experience because I made a reservation and when we walked in, we were barely greeted and the waiter just pointed to our table. In addition, a pair of men walked in after us and were greeted and waited on right away before we were even asked what we wanted to drink. I believe the waiter should take orders in the order the customer arrives. Fair is fair. After they gave us our drinks, the service did improve and they did check on us regularly. It was my Mother’s birthday and I wanted to make sure she had a nice time.
The lemonade tasted like Minute Maid and the salad dressing (lemon vinaigrette) tasted more of oil than anything else. My recommendation would be to get the soup, I overheard another table saying the soup was great. The plantain chips were not freshly made, although the dip was tasty. I wasn’t a fan. However, the entrees made up for everything else. It was all delicious. The waiter did also take a photo for us after I paid and tipped. I spent $75 for a party of 3 before tipping–can’t complain. I am from out of town, but if I came back I would consider doing take-out.
