Thrilled I found Latin Quarter. We were holding a non-profit multi-cultural food event today for L.A.U.N.C.H for Life, a youth mentoring organization. I wanted to bring some latin flavors. And I got ’em.
Ordered a tray of Carne Guisado. It came was rice and a side – I selected tostones. And I added street corn as well churros (not pictured).
First, from the moment I sent an email to inquire, Adam was outstanding. I laid out the options and his recommendations clearly, and made it easy. Very buttoned up. Payment by Toast.
Pickup was perfect – exactly on time.Incredibly friendly and everything was packed up to perfection for easy transport to the event.
The Carne was tender and flavorful. The tostones and the sauce were delicious, the street corn got rave reviews, and the churros were (which came with chocolate sauce in the side) were a great finisher. Will be back!

I’ve had the opportunity to try this place 4 different times to include their food truck. Please go enjoy their food and authentic Caribbean food. The loaded yucca fries are delicious and the tostones sandwiches are amazing! The food is fresh and the agua frescas are very refreshing! The ambience is nice, and they play authentic Caribbean artists, old school and contemporary. Try it; you won’t regret it! It’s nice to have a non-chain restaurant that is authentic!

This is our family’s favorite restaurant! Everything is absolutely delicious. We originally tried it because my husband loves plantains and they make sandwiches with plantains for the bread. We love their ElChavo, LaCubanita quesadillas, the smothered yucca, and street corn nachos. Recently we tried the special Dominican stew and we all agreed it might be our new favorite!

Latin Quarter is truly a hidden gem in Chesterfield! I tried the El Chavo and an Agua Fresca, and both were absolutely delicious—fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The service was also pretty good, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it one of those special spots you’re glad to discover. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for something unique and flavorful in the area!

The restaurant has great vibes. The art and decorations on the wall and their black ceilings show great artistic taste. We went there when they happened to have no customers in the restaurant. But you still can tell how lovely the place it is to hang out with people, have food or get drinks. It’s chill, welcoming, and relaxing. The staff talked to us with passion and care, which we value a lot.
We got the plantain sandwiches. Although it’s not something I personally like, the sandwiches are great and flavorful and I’d recommend it to anyone that likes plantain.
I’d go back to try out their tacos and other food.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, and amazing staff! If you’re looking for something fun, new, and unique, this is the place to go! The La Resaca Patacon is delicious. I get it every time I go. There are kids options, which is great for my three years old. She loves their chicken tacos. Staff is always quick with food, whether we dine in or take out. They have fun cocktails too.

First experience here, food was mediocre & food temp was not hot enough for my liking. I ate outside, will go back & try again inside. Had the smothered yucca to start as I have a friend who raves about it. The jalapeño ranch sauce was pretty good.

10/10! You will LOVE this place. Delicious fresh food, local family business, authentic cuisine and a variety of familiar Latin dishes so there’s something tasty for everyone. We got quesadillas which were phenomenal (Dominican style) but definitely want to try the smashed plátano sandwiches! They also have a food truck and do social events. Looking forward to eating here again!

My boyfriend and I were able to order from the food truck and it did not disappoint. I love plantains and Latin cuisine so this was perfect. I ordered the El Mayimbe Plantain sandwich and it was my favorite, the flavor was immaculate! My boyfriend’s sandwich (El Tumbao) was also good. We ate our sandwiches so fast we ordered one more to share (El Chavo). 10/10 experience, service, and food. Absolutely will order here again!
