The food was so so good and staff went above and beyond to be nice to us. We loved the grilled chicken platter most. Portion sizes are great. The Copa Lolita was delicious. Excited to return.

What a great addition to Corunna. Plenty of seating inside and some outside. The pork was excellent and the black bean side had a real good flavor. The sweet plantains didn’t really come out right but had the right flavor. Be sure to check the specials board on the right as you come through the door. The Arroz con Pollo that was on Special was not on the menu.

Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Tables are clean and have condiments and napkin dispensers. Water glasses are also set out, as well as flatware rolled in nicer paper napkins. I was immediately served good tasting ice water. Latin music plays overhead. Not too loud. The food is authentic. My Cuban sandwich was served nice and warm, on a good Cuban bun. Not soggy, and plenty of meat and cheese. The shredded pork is so good. Not salty or greasy, and very tender. Fries were nice and crisp, hot and just cooked to order. I got Guacamole and chips. It was delicious and fresh, with red onion and cilantro. The chips were fresh fried and hot. I will go back there again.

It was the first time I’ve eaten Chicken Fricassee, and it was delicious! Sweet plantains on the side were on point! The owner was friendly and had us sample a couple of items, fried pork belly (thought it was beef, lol), I liked it, and I don’t really like pork. We also sampled her fried rice and Cuban coffee. That Cuban coffee is certainly worth a visit! They serve skinny French fries for those who need those in their lives, yummy! Based on today’s visit, I see more in our future.

Truly a fantastic family owned restaurant, my Fiance and I just got home and I can’t wait to tell friends and family to check this place out. I had the Cuban sandwich with Cuban espresso and she had the chicken fricasse with black rice, there was a short wait on the rice so the owner made her an empanada with yuca fries free of charge. Everything was absolutely delicious and the owner and her daughters are incredibly kind. It felt like a home-cooked meal, everything was very fresh, the restaurant was clean with a very nice, relaxed atmosphere, I am excited to see this business grow and couldn’t recommend it enough.

Needs more work on atmosphere inside. Didn’t have some items/drinks. Food was pretty good – there were hits and misses. Waited about an hour until table of 4 got food (no one else in restaurant). Waiter was friendly.
I would love to see this restaurant improve because there’s definitely a lot of potential! I’ll be back to try again eventually 🙂
recommend: cubano + espresso + sweet plantains

Latin Flavor brought Miami to Michigan! We had a lot of dishes to try here, and all of them were delicious!
The Cuban sandwich was off the chain! I highly recommend getting the garlic sauce (green); it takes it to a new level.
The Ropa Vieja (shredded beef) was amazing! Portions are huge, and the yuca fries were incredible. Everything was great!
Service is amazing and attentive. They are a family-owned business and truly care about every customer that comes in. The owner is always looking to elevate their food and even drives out of town to get authentic Cuban bread! Quality ingredients equate to great taste.
This place should be on your list!
