Reviews
Latin Bites in Eagle Mountain sounds like it should be a flavorful experience, but unfortunately, it falls short where it counts. The food truck promises Latin flair, but what you actually get is overpriced meals made with cheap ingredients and disappointing portion sizes.
I waited 30 minutes for my food — not during a rush, mind you — only to be handed a small, underwhelming bag that didn’t reflect the $35+ price tag. The flavors were bland and the ingredients tasted like something you could throw together at home with a grocery store run, not what you’d expect from a food truck charging premium prices.
Overall, Latin Bites misses the mark. Long waits, low quality, and little food for the money. There are better options nearby — this one just isn’t worth the hype or the hit to your wallet.
I’ve read the owners response to my review. I am sadly disappointed. This review reflects my honest opinion of your product. I am from Las Vegas and this review was done while I was working in Utah at the FB data center. It saddens me to know that you see your product and even you are disappointed and don’t want to claim it as your own. The only words I have for this establishment is to be accountable for your product and do better.
After my initial review, I was contacted by the owner. She apologized greatly, and invited us to try again. This act alone says a lot about an owner when they want to make it right.
The second time I tried the burger, and my wife had the BLT. The Burger is great. In a city with all fast food, we need a delicious burger, and this one was great.
My wife said the BLT was the best she ever had.
We also had Smoothies which were super yummy. I was given another Arapa, and this time it was stuffed with shredded beef and cheese. This was a great surprise since my last one had about a third of the filling.
I will definitely come back again.
The only downside was the price. I paid around $50 for a chicken sandwich, two arepas, and a shake, which felt a bit pricey for a food truck. Also, customer service could’ve been a little more welcoming, especially since it was our first time there.
Overall, incredible food — just wish the prices and service matched the flavor!
Thanks Latin Bites!
Sometimes they’ll call and say what I order is too hard to make and will offer an empanada instead which was cheaper. Last time I ordered from them.
