Met by accident, the noticeably longer queue compared to other nearby bakeries made me curious. And yes, it was worth the wait.
The pastries were seriously delicious, and the smoked salmon croissant was a highlight — flaky, buttery layers with generous salmon and perfectly balanced flavor. It definitely feels like one of those popular local spots for a reason. If you see the line, just join it. There’s small tables outside the shop and small counter bar for 5-6 persons inside. I hit this place 3 days in a row.

This is something special in Strasbourg. Pastry is simply gorgeous. Bread is another dimension of taste!
Bread is so fresh and crunchy, and soft inside. I can’t explain how I liked bread from here. That one with nuts is kind of I have never eaten before.
Definitely save it on a map to visit again!

Did see some good reviews and wanted to try. And there was queue waiting to get in. Not much space to dine in but worth the wait (in the cold).
I finally settle my mind on few items:
Madeleine: super
Ham and cheese pretzel: generous filling
Rubis: Genoese biscuit (French sponge cake), crispy homemade Gianduja, raspberry compote and milk Cho mousse. Just melt in your mouth
And a coffee to go (was average) but the food

Sorry but our experience was extremely underwhelming. The staff were great and the croissant was really nice, but the pistachio flan and the pain au chocolat were just as average as any random bakery in Germany.
The coffee is also very mediocre.

The bakery is soo good that I came back twice, but I’m giving 4 stars since the quality of the goods were not consistent throughout. And the space is so small so people can’t really sit by if they want (only 4 chairs indoor available).
The eclairs was mid, not as good as many reviews. The macaron (I forgot what flavor) but it was super sweet. BUT the salmon croissant was fabulous!!! and the Pecan Cookie is also great!
The vibe is also great.

Nothing was nice. Coffees from machine and I told them extra hot but the waitress had an attitude. Cheese toast had not much salt. The madeleine was not sweet. Get better madeleines in super market bakeries . Dunno how they get this rating. Not much place to sit.

Delicious pastries and fresh bread in a cozy bakery! The croissants and eclairs were amazing, and the staff was friendly. Small space, so best to grab your treats to go. Highly recommended!

Absolutely delicious pastries at L’Atelier 116. The raspberry pies were especially noteworthy and I bought two extra after trying out the first one. The other desserts were also tasty and I had to order a cappucino to go along with the sweets. If I visit Strasbourg again, it is definitely re-visit worthy ✨

This small bakery, despite its limited seating and space, offers top-notch quality. From croissants and pretzels to coffee, hot chocolate, and cakes, every item I tried was delicious and worth every penny.

Yes, there’s a line — but just wait. It moves quickly, and it’s absolutely worth it. The croissants were incredibly flavorful, and everything else we tried was simply divine. If you’re nearby, don’t hesitate. This place deserves the hype.
