This place was so good and the owner was so kind! We ordered oxtail with scalloped potato and green banana. We didn’t really know what to expect out of the green bananas except it is common to West Indies and some African cuisine. Much more savory and starchy than sweet and soft. Also had chicken with rice and Mac and cheese. The flavor on the chicken and the oxtail was really big and they both fell of the bone. All the sides were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend especially if you are staying at Margaritaville. It is a super short walk. We got ours to go but they also have beer and maybe cocktails?

Amazing food and vibe! If you’re here for the real local food and atmospheres this is your place. We loved the freshly prepared food (oxtail and steamed fish) and service was amazing. They have a self-service beer fridge.

They workers are friendly . The food is GREAT !!! We had fried whole yellow tail ,mash potatoes, veggies . The fish was very well marinated juicy yet crunchy . The dipping sauce that went with it was good too .

Best oxtail plate I ate in st Thomas. The food tastes like grandma cooked it in the kitchen. Everything was perfect. First time trying fungi and I love it! It’s cornmeal and okra so it tastes like grits and a hint of okra but in a mashed potato consistency/texture. The Mac and cheese was super flavorful and it reminds me of Haitian Mac and cheese. Everyone was so nice and friendly and had great recommendations for me to check out beaches on the island and nightlife. Thank you!

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have reviews yet. It might be because it looks like a simple bar type of place from the outside but it is actually a local restaurant and it has amazing food! On our vacation we were passing by daily and one day we were super hungry and stopped by randomly and I am so glad we did. I had the best oxtail ever and the mac and cheese and polenta were soo good too. The waitress didn’t speak much English but she was very attentive and sweet. My momAnd husband got steamed fish which was also great. Next day we wanted to eat again, my husband wanted to get the oxtail as well but unfortunately they were closed and then next day we had to leave as our vacation was over.
Must try place, try the oxtail!

Great go to for authentic carribean dishes. This treasure was within walking distance from our villa ( Pineapple Village near Margaritaville) . It’s a cozy place. Upon walking up we were greeted by the waiter then seated outside. They have delicious oxtails with plantain peas and rice! The oxtails were fall off the bone tender with gravy thats awakening to the palate craving an carribean dish.
