I had read all of the reviews and couldn’t wait to try this soup. Beautiful presentation. Lots and lots and lots of cheese atop beef broth. I agree with some of the reviews that it doesn’t taste like traditional French soup, but it wasn’t bad. You literally could have cut the cheese with a knife it was so thick. Lots of onions. The presentation was the best part, but the soup was pretty decent. Also had the pastrami on rye bread. It was just average. Probably wouldn’t go back for either, but it was an experience I wanted to try. The service was good and you can shop around for candy and other treats while you’re waiting on your table or just after your meal. I understand they have live music on the weekends, but unfortunately we were there during the week. Nice little spot to stop in while you’re out in the Catskills.

I’m all about supporting the local business and this one is special as all the products they use and to sell are off the local business community. This is a special quality that’s hard to see these days.

The best restaurant in Tannersville! I love this place! The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and the place is very exotic. Lots of antiques on the wall. They have a long list of beers. I do recommend the Pulled Pork Nachos, Cheese Fondue and the Black Angus Ribeye Steak.

This is a nice little shop that is also a restaurant. We were staying at an Airbnb nearby and we had to get the cheese board. We were not disappointed in the amount of the assortment that we received. I cannot remember what cheeses they were but they were all delicious! The shop had a lot of snacks and candies to buy so we had to pack our bags full of those for the drive home. 10/10 would come back.

Good bison burger and I really enjoyed the Last Chance Mountain IPA! The burger was properly cooked medium rare as I requested and was very tasty. The only negative was the fries, looked good but tasted like they were reheated, a bit of a strange texture. But I ate them so they weren’t that bad. Excellent and friendly service. Very pleasant inside bar. I would go often if I was from the area. I will be back in the fall!

Last Chance Antiques & Cheese Café is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of a charming ski town. The ambiance is filled with warmth and nostalgia, transporting you back in time with its antique decor. As a cheese lover, I was delighted by their diverse cheese selection, which perfectly complements their tavern-style atmosphere.

Great and fast service. Had the peach margarita and the portobello & garlic goat cheese on pita bread. The sandwich was delicious and flavorful, also recommend getting the spicy chipotle mayo as a side. Great prices as well, came out to around 20 per person for food and a drink
