We are staying a block away from the Last Call Saloon. We walk past it every day and couldn’t wait to check it out. The old historic building fits the name. We had the pleasure of meeting Angelina the bartender. She made a great Bloody Mary! We ordered the large cheese pizza with sausage and pepperoni. It was awesome and we had enough to take home for 3 more meals. Great crust and quality ingredients. It is a bar for locals and everyone was friendly and welcoming. We look forward to coming back many times during our 2 month stay in Honokaa!

We recently vacationed in Hawaii and went here three times! We went twice with the kids and once by ourselves because we like the feel of the place, but more importantly the pizza in the breadsticks were phenomenal. It was also the cheapest place we ate as a family on the whole island. And I’m not sure if he’s the owner but there was this guy who was older who would randomly help us if we weren’t being helped. which barely happened, but was nice. Lots of locals hang out here.

The waitress was so aware and kind and helpful. I felt very welcome and comfortable. The pizza was VERY yummy. I wish it opened up out back, and there were nice glasses or coconut shells for the drinks.

Great place for a burger and beer after a hard day of hiking. The burgers are amazing and they have a good beer selection that is fairly priced. The pizza was priced well too and the one delivered to the table next to ours smelled great! It was not too crowded when we got there and the service was fantastic with the wait staff making sure we were quickly taken care of and our beer never ran out. Wednesdays are open mic night so we were serenaded by local acts as we ate. A great restaurant with a friendly, neighborly feel.

AMAZING!!! Best pizza I’ve had in years. Ended up here by happenstance, but lucky we did. Small place, but packs a punch. Service is laid back and easy so don’t come in with an impatient attitude. I made my own Hawaiian pizza slice with white sauce, ham, pineapple, bacon, and onion – it was to die for!!! My husband had the French dip and loved it. The fries were fresh cut and delicious.
We had three beers between the both of us and they were on the house when we closed out!! BEST meal I’ve had on the island in the 5 days we’ve been here. Would drive from the Kona side every day to come eat here.

Great place. Under new management and now called “Last Call Saloon”. Still great food and drinks, and football on Sundays starting at 7:00am. Veterans will be honored Nov. 10 (Marine Corp Birthday, veterans day Nov. 11). Bring your family and friends.

Local bar and pizzeria. Having worked there before they changed over to the Last Call Saloon I can tell you that this place is great. Three bartender and the staff are amazing. If you’re in honoka’a, this spot is worth checking out.
