My wife & sister in law raved about this place as they frequent this area during their college days in the early 2000s. Unfortunately the quality service and food went down. Turkey sub had little flavor. My wife complained about her sandwich having too much bread.

Food was amazing and so plentiful! We couldn’t finish even half of the sandwiches and they were so nice by wrapping them up for us so we could take them home. Service was very friendly and very quick. They had the sandwiches made in front of us almost immediately. It was so cool to watch them slice the meat and throw big thick stacks of meat across the make line so that the person could catch them on a bun. We were so impressed with the whole outfit. We had three Italians and a meatball and the meatball was amazing in a way that I’ve never tasted meatball sandwiches before. We liked that they had three different types of cheese sitting right in front of you so we could see it before you chose what to put on your sandwich.

My first time here was in 2023 and since then is a mandatory stop whenever i am near. I can say that is among the best sandwich shops in the world! They balance very well the amount of always-fresh bread and generous amount of meats/ingredients. Very fresh products and high quality that can be felt from the first bite. This is one of these places that would get 6 stars if it was possible, no wonder how they’ve been around for 50+ years. Thank you for always making me happy with your hoagies!!

The staff was extremely friendly, bread was soft, sandwiches were good but nothing to write home to mom about. Meat was freshly cut, huge bonus!

The place is dirty. They never clean the sandwich station or wipe the knives so your getting other ppls stuff on yours. Got sandwiches and can’t eat them. Leaving here and going to the 17th street location. 17th street and Boca are the cleanest of all locations.

LaSpada’s consistently has the best subs around. Always fast even when the line is out the door and consistently fresh and delicious. Everyone there is friendly and makes you feel like family. I’ve been recommending them over pub subs for years and I’ll stand by that for probably ever.
