The chicken tenders I ordered did not look like whatever other photo had been posted, or even matched the photo on their menu. However I was craving chicken and this is what I got. This chicken was fantastic! It was dark and well breaded and well seasoned, it was just delicious.

Off the beaten path. There is a name change. It’s called Triple D’s, I believe. Yummy food! So many different choices!

This place has a nice variety so it’s unusual to find some more like that that actually has good barbecue as well. I got the ribs and they were well smoked with a great smoked flavor not put in an oven or in a pot. The fries were crispy and the baked beans were very sweet and tangy. My wife got there Philly cheese steak and it was very well done as well. This was our first trip but we will be back soon to try the pulled pork, wings, and even seafood. Excellent start to this great location

We had the James family bring the food truck to our annual July 4 party yesterday. Everything about them being part of the event was exceptional! They were on time, set up quickly, incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Fresh and crispy, smoky and juicy, everything you want it to be. Cheesesteak was amazing with so much flavor and cheesiness. Smoky, juicy, delicious ribs and the shrimp were the kids favorites. One of my neighbors said to me, “these chicken tenders are better than they need to be.” And I couldn’t agree more. these guys will be on the shortlist for future events.

Never got a bad meal from here, the entrees are great. I had the Ribs and Mac and cheese again after they blew me away the first time, downright delicious. Ribs were tender but still had a little texture (The way they should be), and they were huge to boot but the absolute best part is that you could taste the smokey flavor.

Don’t take my word for it, check them out!

Great food, good portion sizes, friendly atmosphere, and decent prices. Took the whole family here and everyone left stuffed and pleased. Flounder and wings were great. 3 cheese mac and potato salad was awesome. Fries were done perfectly with great seasoning. Staff were super friendly. Great all around experience and we will definitely be back.

Just left their restaurant, which is still in the early stages of opening, but the food…. everything was wonderful!! The wife and I had the rib dinner, mine with 3 cheese Mac and potato salad(just like Mom use to make) wife coleslaw and fries. It was all good, even the sweet tea is top notch. Looking forward to going back soon.

The food was okay, but small portions. Paying more for the “French” sounding name. I wanted pizza, but they were out of sponges. I inhaled the food (appetizers), now I shall have to get dinner somewhere. It was fast, but small portions. The fish was fried, but lacking in taste, hence the need for a condiment. The Mac&cheese was good and flavorful as was the red rice. Will I go again?…

So , I’m pretty honest and accurate with all my reviews and this will be no different. As many know ,my wife , daughter and I , with my friend and his daughter eat one place together every month and I try to do a review if it’s new to us as I have been for 4 years now. We planned on eating at Lason Cafe for a month now . We were scheduled to eat lunch , but plans changed and we went for dinner instead. We checked the website , and Google for there operating times and it said 9am to 9pm. Since Covid , I always check to see when it was last updated by the business and when the last review was in order to judge the accuracy of the open and closed information. We were set to meet up at 1800 (6pm ) and on our way my friend calls and said that there are at Lason but they are closed. He said there wasn’t a note or sign on the door or anything. I called the number on Google and they have different operating times on the voice mail but we are still there with in the time . Saturday is Noon to 2000 I think. I know that times are hard now for small businesses but that would make me think they would go the extra step and if closing early or on that day for whatever reason , there would have atleast been a note or sign on the door. I would have still showed up but I would know they attempted to let people know and not just ghosting their customers. I was looking forward to ribs or shrimp and fish. Maybe they will update their website or voicemail. Till next time.
