We just recently discovered LaScala’s pronto after living in Medford for 5 years. It’s quickly become our favorite pizza place. We like its affordability and easy family atmosphere. We’ve loved the Spinach Alfredo pizza and the traditional pies. The crust is perfect and the sauce is not too sweet. When we eat in my husband loves the BYOB policy so he can enjoy his favorite beverage while we eat. Our very picky Long Island family also loves them when they visit! Can’t wait to come back.

What a wonderful experience.
Saw the video in SJ food on Facebook yesterday advertising their new bread bowls….we went, we had, we ENJOYED!. The appetizer cheesesteak egg roll was tasty. Please don’t hesitate and go and try!!

This little place really packs a punch! The quality of the food, fresh ingredients, and attention to detail is truly impressive. Whether you are in the mood for a handcrafted sandwich, pizza, salad, or a fine pasta dish; this place has it all! The staff is amazing and the casual atmosphere is very inviting. The prices are very good as well, which is why we consider it our hidden gem of Medford.

LaScala’s is one of my favorite places to eat. The service is good and the food is delicious. We’ve had yummy pizza there, but my favorite entree is the chopped salad. It’s pretty much a hoagie in a bowl: chopped lettuce, cubed Italian meats, cheese, chopped red onion, tomato, and pepperoncini, resting in a tasty vinaigrette. The salad is fresh and filling. That salad is THE reason I continue to visit LaScala’s.

I stopped here with my family after pumpkin picking this weekend. The service was great and the food was amazing. We had a little bit of everything from pizza to steak sandwiches and even a salad with salmon. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our family orders from La Scala Pronto nearly every Friday in the summer. The food has been awesome and the service and delivery is excellent. Huge fans of the chopped salad, sausage and pepper pizza, and the cheesesteaks!

$54 for a meatball dinner, arancini, two desserts, and a 20 oz. soda. The server who rung me up was very nice and professional. The food, however, was disappointing. The meatballs were made with zero love. They even skip the searing process and are made with very cheap ground beef. This is just unacceptable. Secondly, the Arancini with “ham” are weak. There was a couple pieces of miniscule ham in mine (see picture) and I would be willing to bet this is just the left over lunch meat from making hoagies. Their “famous” marinara sauce is simply not good. It is way too sweet, and they definitely add a bunch of sugar to their sauce. Also, the rigatoni was overcooked mush and kind of had a calamari taste to it Major L. The only redeeming qualities were the single piece of bread they gave me was actually good, and the Tiramisu was decent. (not worth the $8.50, though).

This place usually does not disappoint. While the kitchen typically does not bring out all food items on time due to their practice, 15-20 minutes between dishes isn’t acceptable. The item was removed from the bill but the lack of expedience was concerning and made for a poor dining experience.
