My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally had the opportunity. In all my years of dining, I must say this was in the top 5 of the best experiences Ive ever had.

Lola was an amazing host. Very friendly and informative. Everyone we encountered was super polite, friendly, and informative. Many recommendations were made and prefrences were asked and taken into consideration to help us make the best decesion on a cuisine that most people may not really understand the flavor profiles and textures.

Our drinks and food came very quickly and were absolutely beautiful. The flavors were absolutely amazing and had me dancing in my chair. The fish sauce and shrimp paste were exceptional.

Overall, this cozy little restaurant with a staff that makes you feel like family and food that amazed me is definitely a place I recommend anyone and everyone to try.

Our lunch at Lasang Pinoy was an absolute delight. We arrived at noon and found the atmosphere so welcoming that we stayed well over an hour just to soak it in. Our server, Jason, was exceptionally attentive and respectful; he truly elevated the meal by sharing the history of the restaurant and offering fascinating insights into Filipino culture.

While we weren’t sure if the owner, Maria, was in, her passion clearly reflects in the service. The food was equally impressive—the appetizers arrived perfectly timed, followed by our rice bowls just ten minutes later. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It’s rare to find a spot that balances such efficiency with a genuine, personal touch.

We had the best night at Lasang Pinoy NWA! It’s our favorite restaurant we have found since moving to Northwest Arkansas. All of the staff were so lovely and helpful. The food and drinks were the star of the show! I almost cried several times while eating because the food was just that amazing! My husband and I will definitely be back and next time we are bringing friends.

Since Jesse’s account cannot reply directly to your response, we’re writing from another friend’s account who was also at the table. Because you replied so quickly and took responsibility for what happened, we have also left a new five-star review to reflect that.

Thank you again for taking the time to write such a detailed response and for refunding our ticket — we appreciate that, and we also appreciate that you care about your guests and about regulatory compliance.

We want to clarify that our review wasn’t meant to accuse you of intentionally mis-representing prices or to mislead anyone; from the guest side, we simply saw a bill that didn’t match what we remembered from the menu. Your explanation about the extra scoop makes sense now.

For us, the main issue really wasn’t the exact ticket time for dinner, but the overall service experience around dessert and how our concerns were handled. We were seated at 6:30 and left a little after 9:00. We asked our server for dessert at around 8:10, but she then disappeared for about 15 minutes before even bringing the dessert menu. After we finally ordered Turon with ube ice cream, it was another roughly 20 minutes before anything came out, even though there were very few tables left in the restaurant at that point.

When we asked why the dessert was taking so long, the response we got was essentially that our wait “wasn’t that long,” with an explanation about the fryer instead of a simple apology. That dismissive tone was honestly the most upsetting part of the night — it made us feel that our frustration as guests wasn’t really being taken seriously.

On top of that, the ice-cream situation was worrying for us. We had clearly requested ube, and when the dessert first came out there was no ice cream at all. After we mentioned it, our server brought mango ice cream and only then told us ube was out. No one checked if mango was okay before changing it, even though one person in our group is allergic to mango. We caught it in time, but after waiting about 40 minutes from asking for dessert to finally getting the correct plate, discovering an allergy trigger on the plate was extremely frustrating and could have been dangerous.

Just to add, we actually have photos of most of the dishes on our phones with timestamps, so our comments about the overall time are based on those records rather than just a vague feeling. We didn’t want our review to sound like an exaggeration; it reflects what we experienced that evening.

We wrote the original review with limited space, so we couldn’t include every detail. Our intention was not to attack your restaurant — we enjoyed the food and said so — but to give honest feedback in the hope that the service level can improve. We completely understand that busy nights happen and servers can have bad days, but comments like “your wait isn’t that long” and changing an ice-cream flavor without asking the guest do make the experience feel uncaring from our side.

We wish you and your team the best, and we hope this additional context helps explain where we were coming from.

I’m from Hawaii so I’m big on Filipino food. This one hands down one of the best foods I tried in NWA. Their Shanghai lumpia was soft and crunchy, very savory. They were serving Mongolian stir fry with rice and appetizers along with Bingo. The atmosphere was very fun, friendly and inviting and the owners checked on us multiple times which I appreciate. I ordered ube cheesecake to go, it was wonderfully soft and delicious. The only thing I wish is that they did not run out of their Calamansi drink, I was looking forward to trying it. It was a busy day so I understand the shortage. I highly recommend giving this place a try! I’m going again for sure!!!

We had an amazing boodle fight for our party of 12 + baby at Lasang Pinoy! Everything was five-star – the food, the service and the fun.

Maria was incredibly responsive and easy to work with, and they were so accommodating with our many allergies (gluten, dairy, egg, peanut, corn, sesame). Our spread was delicious – chicken, salmon, shrimp, lumpia, garlic rice, veggies, and fruit – perfect for sharing. Maria provided the history of boodle fights at the beginning and we ended the night with karaoke – that was the cherry on top!

Highly recommend for great food, great service, and a unique & memorable family experience that may now be a new family holiday tradition for us!

Tried this place for the first time on a Sunday so we had their brunch. They offer a buffet of rice dishes, fresh fruit, and locally made breads. We ordered from the menu and each of us loved our dishes. The sausage is handmade and is sooooo delicious! The beef was good as well. All proteins are served with a side of rice, an egg, and sliced tomatoes. What really pushed the experience over the top was the amazing service. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I can’t wait to go back during lunch and dinner to try the rest of their menu!! Definitely give this place a try !

We came on a random Tuesday night and they were completely slammed. I think the word is out that this place is a new staple in Rogers! The service was amazing and everything that our big table got was so much better than our expectations.

I know there are a lot of options in NWA, but if you like unique and local, this place is it.

Also, I’m not much for Karaoke, but their rooms make it super comfortable and fun!

We had a great experience our first time! We happened to come on a bingo night (Wednesday) – super fun. We even won a gift card! Very cute inside. Food was delicious. They even offer different meals seasonally. My husband appreciated the option to add a spicy sauce.
