We choose this place because my Dad wanted a Mexican breakfast. We looked @ Trip Advisor & the reviews looked good. We missed breakfast by 10 minutes. The place serves similar 2 cafeteria style. The food is cooked & keep warm in steam pans. So I order, they put it together. We ordered lunch. I had 2 beef fajita tacos ( flour tortillas, $ 4.75 ea ). Off 2 a bad start 4 me. A little pricey considering the beef fajitas were tough & not much flavor. I knew not 2 expect Pappasito’s. The tacos were served warm @ best. The tea came from a fountain drink dispenser. ♂️ ♂️ Not even made fresh. Would eat here 4 lunch again ? Yes, 4 breakfast 2 try it out. No 4 lunch or dinner

Prices for the flour tortilla tacos are high but can say they were generous and had good flavor – corn tortilla tacos were more reasonable in price – when you walk in you order from up front and they bring the food out to you lady’s were very friendly

My boyfriend and I are new to Lake Charles and for the past 4 months we’ve been trying to find decent Mexican food which has not been successful. This is the only good Mexican food in Lake Charles that we’ve tried.

I love their 5 pound burrito! Very tasty. Not too many people knows about their 5 pound burrito. They told us it’s on their secret menu. You have to ask for it because it isn’t on their regular they told us.

This place serves up amazing Mexican food without breaking the bank! Don’t expect anything fancy, but the flavors are legit. One thing to keep in mind: if you’re with a big group, you might want to plan ahead since the seating can be a bit tricky. But honestly, it’s worth it, the food is that good!

This is the spot to be! No matter what you get, you will enjoy it. I’ve tried almost everything for the exception of a few tacos. If I could afford to eat both breakfast and lunch every single day, I would. I like the chorizo and potato on flour for my breakfast taco and Al pastor w/ onion and cilantro for my lunch taco. I always get limes with the pastor tacos. They were closed for a while after the hurricanes, but bounced back quickly. That time they were rebuilding was a long time to go without having some tacos. It was well worth the wait. There are a few taco spots around the area, but I choose Victoria’s because their’s is just better. Better ingredients, better tortillas, better rojo & verde salsa…….. Whether it’s your first time or your 200th time, you’ll enjoy Victoria’s!
