This place had some of the best Cuban food around pre Covid.. Great oxtails, rice, and their beans were stellar. I do not know what has happened since then, perhaps a lot, like at other places. I decided to go back to give it a try for lunch after some years and received beans that literally tasted like and had the consistency of dish water, crunchy, subpar rice, and the cuban sandwich, by then, with its dried cheese, was now suspect. Croquetas seemed good, but I lost my appetite after all of that. Right into the trash. Money in the trash. Terrible!!!! Customer service though is always good… and was. But I have limited time and went out of my way to go by and this food was not it! God awful. A lot of places have become totally sloppy with their take out. Sigh. Now I remain hungry and patronize elsewhere… Atrocious.

I have been to other Las Vegas restaurants and loved them. This one did not meet expectations. The service was super super slow. The drink order was taken quickly, got our drinks, ordered our food and waited over 30 minutes. Nothing we ordered should have taken that long. We got our food and it wasn’t that great. We had the vaca frita, rabo encendido, chuletas, tostones and a tamal. The vaca frita was not crispy, it was just stewed meat. The yellow rice was hard. The tostones were just a big greasy undercooked plantain. The tamal had no flavor. The rabo was the only thing that was decent. We waited for our table to be cleared and than waited another 20 minutes to get the check. They couldn’t figure out how to split it. We may go again but I would rather just go to another one that I know will be great.

We held a very special celebration here for my grandmother’s 89th birthday. Every little detail from the restaurant and wait staff was thought out….the private room was setup on time, they made sure to get all waters and bread to the table right away so as to not hold up the dinner. They took orders speedly and accurately and made sure to get the food to us quickly in order to keep affect the entertainment. The wait staff worked with us to keep everything smooth and timely, all with a friendly and professional attitude. The restaurant is very nice, clean and the food delicious! We had the absolute best time and it was all thanks to Las Vegas – thank you so much!!

The Las Vegas in Pembroke Pines is an amazing family based Cuban restaurant where is a place that everyone can enjoy. The food is delicious and a good size portion. I got a pollo a la plancha which brings white rice, black beans, grilled chicken with onions on top and maduros. And it was an amazing delicious meal. As well as the service was perfection. There staff always come to you and ask for refills for water and they are very attentive. My waitress that I got today was Elizabeth is an amazing waitress you can ever ask for. She is very polite and nice. The atmosphere makes you feel like your in Cuba. Make sure to stop by!

The food was excellent. Had the breaded steak, yellow rice and red beans with an order of Tostonas. The portion of food was very good. Our waitress was ould come around to make sure all was good.
