One of our favorite Mexican Restaurants. Relaxing environment, just the right size portions, and great customer service. Best of all, the grilled Jalapenos, Perfect! You would think it would be Hot… Not, it’s mild and it compliments my order every time.

Ordered for takeout, and the front desk worker was nice enough and said it was the best. (Meaning the food) when i spent $19 including tip for a burrito and a side of rice and beans i thought “this is going to be an authentic burrito and im so glad i live so close.” When i tried it when i got home, the meat was slightly rubbery. The sauce on top of the burrito was bland, and the rice was a bit stale. The only good thing about this dish was the side of beans. I dont regret paying $19, including the tip, because it is a small price to pay, so i may never go back and spend more of my hard earned money.

We were looking to try something new. Our usual spot is closed due to fire damage. The food wasn’t awful, but could have used some more seasoning. The staff seemed very disinterested and inattentive. We ordered the taquitos appetizer for our 6 year old and when the bill arrived we were charged more than what was listed on the menu. When pressed the server said the appetizer is for a two taquito meal but we got 3. That wasn’t mentioned on the menu, nor what we asked for. We’ll try somewhere else next time.

On a cold Monday night, we ventured out to Las Trojes. The wife started with a top shelf margarita and I got a draft Pacifico. The margarita was smooth and very delicious.

Stopped in to give the place a try. Found out why the place was almost empty. Food was average tasting at best. Not the worst I’ve ever had, but the prices are crazy!! $6 for a coors light draft beer. When I asked why so much, the woman only said “that’s the price.” Apparently the owners figured they would price gouge the few customers they get, in order to pay the bills. I doubt they will be around much longer! I do know I’ll never go back again!
