This place does not look like much outside but the magic is inside. Their food is ammmmaaazziinngg and their cortaditos are the best around. This was my favorite spot in NJ and I highly recommend for anyone who wants authentic Cuban food without being sold on commercial nonsense.

Been going to this place for over 20 years. Food is always good. Service is great as well. Prices are very fair. UPDATE: 10/10 Place isn’t the same. Food quality has gone down. I believe that they are under new management because of all the unfamiliar faces. Don’t see the old man with the white hair anymore…anyway, this place doesn’t taste the same. Maybe I’ll go back one last time and pray for the best. Stars dropped from 5 stars to 2 stars….flavor is everything! Sorry.

I have been going here since I was a child. This place is affordable and the food is delicious. I feel like I am getting a home cooked meal every time. The owner is always present and the service is always done with a smile. I look forward to every visit here.

This is a cash only establishment. You can get alcoholic beverages with your meal. The place is clean and modest with very reasonable prices for meals. They have different specials daily with certain meals that they have all the times. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and they close at 7pm. You can call ahead and order food for pickup. You will not leave hungry and it won’t empty your wallet either.

Pernil (pork) sandwich is excellent after coming out of a hot press. Good latin meals at prices cheaper than a burger meal at McDonald’s. Definitely worth the visit for folks looking for inexpensive latin food.

Found this hidden gem while I was going to home depot nearby. I paid $6.95 for an amazing pernil, jarritos (soda), and an empanada. Definitely worth coming here. It’s cheap and taste amazing. Other places I would have probably spent $15+.
