Tried Las Tortas 2 for the first time and ordered the ‘Tejana torta’ ($12.86 before tax) —and honestly, I went in without really knowing what a torta was. Pleasant surprise! The sandwich was loaded with fillings and a very good portion size. It felt perfect as a breakfast-style sandwich, and honestly, one torta can easily be shared between two people for a full meal.
We didn’t sit inside because the music was extremely loud, almost ear-bursting. This isn’t a gourmet sit-down restaurant anyway—it’s more of a small, local takeout spot with a few chairs and tables, focused on food rather than ambiance.
The menu has tons of options, which is great, but it can be a bit overwhelming if you don’t already know what everything is or what to order.
Overall, this is an amazing local torta spot with great value and generous portions.
5 stars for the restaurant, and I’ll definitely be back—especially to try more items during the morning hours.

We eat here often and it never disappoints. Every sandwich I’ve gotten so so yummy, but my favorite is the Lambada. My daughter gets the Jalisco. It’s a small local restaurant that has some tables or takeout. Staff is pleasant and food is delicious.

Stopped in for the first time today and split a torta with my husband. The Michoacán is where it’s at, this was so flipping good. We will absolutely be back here! Salsa was delicious too!

This place was great. I wanted some authentic Mexican food and this place delivered. I knew it would be good when we were the only gringos eating there. The food came out really fast. 10 minutes or less for 2 tortas, 2 quesadillas and fries. The tortas were the best I ever had and the ingredients were fresh. Highly recommended!!

Good tortas. We got the Jalisco and the asada, both were quite tasty and very filling. The Jalisco has a more savory flavor with less spiciness, where the asada had a spicy kick to it.

We ordered la norteña and the tejano. Featured is the tejano. We loved them both. They serviced us fairly quickly for the amount of business they had at the time. Very authentic Mexican flavors, bread wasn’t soggy, great price for food and value. I was actually satisfied after 1/2!

A solid owner occupied, no frills, good heavy, somewhat non traditional food…. Just the way I like it.

Amazing food! I love Mexican food and try to find the best local places and this was great. I’ll be back anytime I’m in the area. This was just as good if not better than any torta I had in Mexico and I’ve been many times.
