We are frequent visitors to Las Tapatias. We like to go on the weekend to take advantage of the homemade Tortillas. I love their new menu. Lots of new options but we usually for their tacos. Food never disappoints but service always depends on who is working. You need help and everyone is sitting along the wall on their cell phones and too entertained to look up to see if you need something. But if you go with that in mind, ask for everything at once and go slow on your drinks so you don’t need them to come back you will enjoy some good authentic Mexican food.

This place has gone downhill. The food is not prepared properly and they are not consistent in the way food is prepared. I had burritos mexicano and i got peppers and onions. I explained to the waitress but she insisted that is how they do it. My wife’s crispy taco was wet from the chicken as they did not drain all the juice and it got absorbed by the taco shell, it just fell apart. Lousy food and service was ok. I will not return and will patronize this restaurant again

This is a mom and pop place that serves food and has a grocery store under the same roof. The food is good. The portions are generous. The service is friendly. The ambience isn’t like the typical American restaurant, but it’s refreshing.
Came here for dinner the other night. The biggest change I saw was that the grocery store is gone. The decor looks different than I remember it as well. The service is still friendly and the ambience has not changed.

Loved the food. The shrimp cocktail was so good. The chips and salsa delicious. The guacamole chunky just how I love it. We had beef fajitas, chicken taco, beef enchilada and burrito. We all found our food to be delicious. The chicken unlike some places was very flavorful. But most of all when you ask for a side of something it is a nice small bowls not a dollop amount in a mini plastic cup.

Where do I start! The food was so delicious I forgot to take a picture before I ate but it was so good I didn’t want to go get my phone for take out it was really good great price and it was prepared in perfect timing I at least can show the end results the food was finger licking

Order $74 worth of food and felt like I got half that amount it was already not a good start to see that the prices that are online does not reflect the price they tell you when you call smh ma’am sirs senor y senores that’s called tipping yourselves enjoy the pictures I have provided along with my second review of the place as you can see the rice wasn’t even a handful and the meat!! There was waaayyyy more onions than meat to fool your eyes with the food ..well I’m no longer spending money there and whats more sad I just gave them 3 extra customers convinced them to buy food from there and this is what happened smh..the food is still good I don’t wanna sound like I didn’t enjoy it but I felt robbed

Had a taste for some birria tacos and thought I’d give this place a try since I was in the area. The place wasn’t very busy when I came in but the service was very slow and I wish my waitress was more attentive. I ordered the birria tacos and was super disappointed. There were 2 corn tortillas on each taco which made it super thick. The flavor was lacking big time. Jax has some solid places with amazing birria and this unfortunately fell very short.
