Hubby booked us for wrong night but they were still able to accommodate us. Sat on the rooftop with a beautiful view. Great service and food was delicious. Everything we had was delicious. House Mole Trio was my favorite along with the chocolate mouse for dessert. Fair price for what we got. Well worth it.

We had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely amazing — honestly, one of the best mole dishes I’ve ever had. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and a special thank you to Roberto, who was especially kind and attentive throughout our visit. We were in a bit of a rush since we only had one hour before catching our plane, and the service was impressively fast. The waiter made sure our food arrived right on time without compromising quality.

Highly recommended — we would definitely come back!

High quality Bib Gourmand Michelin level Oaxacan food. Tried their mole trilogy and it didn’t disappoint. While the almond mole and the coloradito were incredibly flavourful, the mole negro was the star: incredibly complex and with so many layers to enjoy.

Do not expect it to be cheap for Mexican standards, but it does have a fair price compared to the quality and it is a great place to try one of the best Mexican cuisines.

Bonus point with great music and vibe.

Our group of 5 was celebrating a birthday and we were running a little late (due to traffic) for our reservation. We called and the host, Tatiana, reassured us that our table would be waiting. Thank you, Tatiana!
The appetizers, drinks and food were delicious. The service was attentive. One member of our group required gluten-free food (celiac) and the server was able to recommend appropriate dishes. We left happy and satisfied.

I had a solo early dinner last night, this place is the one I had been looking forward to eating at.

Ate upstairs where the decor was classy and earthy and the staff were lovely.

I had the trio of mole, each of which had a different meat, the orange coloured one was reasonably tasty as was the beef terrine but the other two were underwhelming – I was really looking forward to the black mole but it was overpoweringly chocolatey.

Busboys were also overly keen to remove things from the table which got annoying.

Reasonably priced for what it was but just disappointing I’m afraid.

This place was recommended on a post I saw on Instagram so I figured I’d give it a try.
The food was fantastic but the service could use work. From my experience at other restaurants, it didn’t seem like my table was a priority at all.
I had to ask the other servers for any additional items to which they didn’t seem happy about.
I posted the empty second drink mostly because the only extraordinary thing about it was that it had a huge crack on the rim – fortunately I didn’t cut my tongue as I was enjoying the tajín covering it up.
I had to flag someone down to close my tab as I was sitting there with empty glassware and finished food and then waited an additional 15 minutes for someone to catch on that I had been finished for 30 mins.
Fortunately I had cash on me to fill the guest book so I could simply just walk out. They didn’t even notice I got up and left.
This place needs better management and better servers. I regret spending that much time and money in this restaurant. Hopefully the bartenders pay more attention so they don’t serve mediocre drinks in broken glassware.

This was our first stop for food in Oaxaca. We met Tatiana at the door and her energy and charm really invited us in. The food was fantastic , highly recommend this place, can’t really go wrong. Enendido was great and very knowledgeable.

I LOVED the service. Thank you Marco. A delight. The food was delicious but for two things that took it from a 5 to a 4. Firstly, it was almost tepid enough to send back to the kitchen. I’d read this in another review. Hot food is a must. Period. Also, the last meat was very tough. The other two were delicious and tender enough to cut with a fork. Also, my drinks lacked alcohol, they were slighted. But delicious anyway.

Incredible food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommend. I got the Tamale con Quelites—the flavors went together beautifully. The presentation was good, the taste was good and very cheap (in America it would have costed at least twice as much). Quick service. The waiters were attentive and were quick to respond to any questions. Note that the amount of money is in pesos.

First off service was excellent, our waiter was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was also nice for a rooftop dinner at night, so kudos to them for nailing that part. But it pains me to say the food was a letdown and my family found their food underwhelming as well. I personally got a fish dish (I know Oaxaca isn’t exactly known for their seafood but after eating so much meat throughout my stay, I wanted something on the lighter side) and while the sauce was okay, it couldn’t mask how overcooked the fish was. My family all got different types of mole dishes and said it was their least favorite mole they’ve tried on this whole trip and some of their proteins were tough and chewy. None of the moles really stood out and were on the bland side. Also the desserts we ordered felt very basic and unremarkable. I did like the Chile de agua a la vinegreta, a cold, refreshing small dish with a good balance of acidity, spice, and savoryness. The Octopus I tried was decent as well. Hopefully it was just an off night for the kitchen staff, but I wouldn’t recommend this place based on the food.
