I didn’t know this was here in Parker. It has a really good atmosphere and nice interior. Their service was good but the food is what you want to go in for. I had the steak à la tampaqueña and it was a huge plate with a tasty mole on the enchilada and a steak that was very good as well. The shrimp plate we had was also big and very good also. I highly recommend this over the other Mexican restaurants around Parker if you’re out and about on the south side of Parker.

Lively, crowded with families, with outdoor seating also filling up. Drinks are eye openers; margarita with a small bottle of Corona is an actual drink offer. The house margarita was tasty and strong. Large plates of food and good portions leaves no complaints. Only one salsa choice, but it was spicy with a burst of cilantro. Prices range is reasonable with many tempting choices. You will eat well here. The wait staff keep on their toes, but they might forget to bring the side of chopped cilantro.

We love this Mexican restaurant. We went for their Valentines day special: 2 pink margaritas, steak fajitas, and sopapillas. Our server was Sal, who always is a great server…actually all the servers are great.

Fernando and his crew at Las Potrancas are top shelf. Kind, welcoming and hospitable. The food is the best we’ve had across Colorado. Chimichanga and Chicken Fajitas were what we ordered. FlavorFUL and easy on the budget. A lovely atmosphere and music to match, we will be back to enjoy their signature Margaritas too!

Best Mexican restaurant in Parker hands down. The food is obviously the best part but the atmosphere and service is excellent as well! Sal is a great server! I have never had anything I didn’t like here. I can’t believe it took so long for my family to come across this place but once we did, we have definitely become regulars.

Isaiah’s is the best bartender and person! Every time my girlfriend and I go there we have great service. The staff is friendly and the food is great. They treat you like your best friend. I would recommend the Lacho plate it comes it’s a cheese Chile relleno, a smothered burrito with carnitas and rice, and a chicken enchilada. If you like fajitas get the molcajete. If you like spicy get it with the sauce if not no sauce.

Highly recommend trying out this place. I got the Carnitas Plate and Prickly Pear Margarita which were both fantastic! My father got the Taquiza so he could try a variety of tacos (he liked all of them). The standout for both of us was the carnitas. Very nice staff with fair prices.

Las Potrancas is nice inside, but definitely gives off a bar vibe. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still really nice inside. The website says they are open at 9am on Saturday, they actually open at 10.
I went for breakfast at 10:30. Not very busy and music was at just the right level (not annoying). Started off with some good, free, nice warm chips and salsa.
I ordered 2 items:
Smothered Green Chili Fries – Good portion of thin fries, came out on a hot plate, but the fries were warm and could have been cooked longer to make crispier. Because the fries were thin you could actually taste the green chile as well and not just the French fry so that was good. The green chile was good. Overall it was good
Smothered Egg and Potato breakfast burrito. Good size burrito, good ratio of egg to potato unlike some other places that give mostly potato. Potato was thin hash browns, it was good but could have been cooked or fried longer to crisp, it was like it was cooked in a lot of oil as seen in the picture.
Service was good up until the end when my waiter disappeared and I ran out of water, needed a box and wanted the check. I had to flag down another waiter after 10 minutes to check out. I turned around and my waiter was at the bar sitting, eating with his back turned to me.
It was a good meal, good portion size and at
good price, $10 for the smothered fries, $7 for the smothered burrito. Service was ok.
I would have given it 4 stars if the fries and hashbrowns were cooked more, I hadn’t run out of water, and I was abandoned by the waiter at the end. I would eat here again though.
